Fixxxer Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Eric Wood shared a photo of the vision helmet used by coaches to see what the player see in practice or games. I don't know how helpful will be but it's cool nontheless Eric Wood @EWood70 12m “@billsequipment: @schuttsports vision helmet. Coaches can see what players see at practice.#Bills pic.twitter.com/8zJ4VLGlol”could be dangerous
boyst Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I have been wondering why this hasn't made its way on to TV yet. I brought this up on this site over 10 years ago. With the cameras coming out I said it'd be a year or two until it was possible to find good footage from a helmet. With NASCAR having in car cameras it was obvious that in helmet is down the line. Surprised it has taken so long to come around.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I could see this helmet being really good or EJ. The coaches can view, through his eyes, how he examines the defense pre-snap and then how he goes through his progressions. Pretty cool stuff.

They have retina trackers they can place on goggled/glasses. I am surprised teams do not use these. Or some sort of video game like system to coach reading the D and finding the targets.
K D Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Can we get Marrone a visor camera so we can see what he's looking at when he throws the challenge flag?
