Found some tickets in the endzone for $115 a piece. That's nutzo cheap!

Actually that is really expensive for the end zone. You can get in the endzone for 40$, especially for a December game. But beware, you will find the drunkest and least opposition friendly crowd in the end zones.

If you are lucky some drunk and his girlfriend will be doing the nasty in the upper deck...again.

And if you are really lucky, you will be doing the drunk's girl friend.

I would stay downtown. The Chippewa Strip rocks on the weekend. It would be the place I would go fri/sat. The casino is ok if your a gambler. Its nothing special. Definitely would not stay near the stadium if your looking at a multiple night stay. Stadium parking lot is the place to be game day. Big Tree inn would be good after the game. Its a 5 min walk from the stadium. Typical hole in the wall watering hole but a good time. As for tickets stubhub is good if you want to play it safe. You should be able to get something between the twenties for 100 a piece if your patient. Id wait till thurs or fri to buy the seats. You can also try ticketmaster on wednesday. The Bills usually get returns from the visiting team and put them back out for sale on wed or thurs. Also NFL ticket exchange. Could also try craigslist for tix though i find those people are a little delusional on what they think their tix are worth. Id wait till sat if your go craigslist. bottom line on tix is you should get really good seats if your patient and are willing to pay 100-125 a piece. Dont pay that for endzone. The scalper market here is usually pretty reasonable. I agree with others who say stay away from the endzone and the upperdeck if your rooting for the Pack. The biggest jerks are usually in the endzone and the upper deck.

I have one piece of advice- If you go out to Chippewa or Allen- do not grab a late-night bite to eat at Jim's Steakout. The last thing you want to do is spend the remainder of your time in Buffalo at ECMC getting your stomach pumped.

That's the best part about chippewa/allentown. Nothings better than steak hogies at 4am when you're plastered.

Jacked for the tailgating, I hear it's the closest to Lambeau in the league.

I live far south of Chicago (about 30 from downtown/15 from the city limits). Coming back from the Apostle Islands this past winter we took the "long way" home and went through Green Bay and saw Lambeau Field... I was amazed how much the area reminded me of Buffalo/OP/Westen New York... Very nice... Little bit smaller in Green Bay with all the corporate places down the main drag there. In and around Orchard Park it is similar along the Mile Strip/Mckinley area or up on Southwestern and Union.

Do what the other suggested... Bring passports to get into Ontario.

Thanks again guys. I don't think we will be going into Canada, we normally just hunker down in the town we visit and soak up the local LOCAL brews and food, not a big deal. Making it Flow Backwards- Yeah, that was part of the reason we wanted to check out Buffalo, as it is compared to GB. We have seen some dumpy areas in bigger cities, figured we would bring it smaller this year. Does anyone go to the "National Wing Festival"? Anyone ever hear of Legend Larrys? Local guy from here, that has some amazing sauces and does wings that has done well out there every year and won best original hot sauce, Unique BBQ Sauce (Spicy Bacon BBQ) and several others. Man I need wings now.

I go every year and Legend Larry's is over-rated in my opinion, go to Duff's and you will learn what a true traditional Buffalo style wing is supposed to taste like. One thing you are going to learn, you aren't going to find 101 crazy ass sauces here, Medium, Hot or Char BBQ.

Yeah i have been to wing fest every year! Always a good time. ANd it is nice to try some exotic sauces at different places, and i usually get a few from Legend Larry's, but if you want to down 2 dozen..you want medium or hot not fufu razeberry! :-)

Did you just compare spicy bacon BBQ to fufu raspberry? Those are fighting words in my part of the country!! Haha, joking. But very excited to try Duffs.

Now tell me, what are some bars that I have to hit up? Any "different" bars that are original to the area in Buffalo, or staples I should hit up?

Haven't read all of the replys and I have only been to Buffalo on a few occasions for some games but I liked Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. It's a sports bar in downtown Buffalo on, appropriately named, Pearl Street. Nothing overly special about it but it's a nice place to go for a night out. There's also a casino not too far from there.

For parking on game day, I would recommend finding a house on Abbott Rd.

I say wait til we have at least 7 wins before going to that game or it will be half empty. Maybe 6 wins going into that game can muster a crowd also. But if we have 5 wins or less going into that game, you can still go if you just wanna get drunk and get out of town I guess.
