So do you guys do anything unique to the Bills in the stadium? (Cheers, traditions). This is our 12th stadium, hope to see all someday, but Buffalo was on my short list of tops to visit.

Hammers tailgate, be at the red pinto before 11:00 am......

You guys rock. I will make sure and hit up Duffs in Orchard park. Is it just a wing joint or a bar where we could hang for a bit?

Jacked for the tailgating, I hear it's the closest to Lambeau in the league. Think we will hit up Hammers.

Thinking we will stay downtown Buffalo for hotel. Is there one strip I should be aware of where we should stay that is near the majority of the bars?

It is actually a decent sports bar also. I don't think tickets will be that tough to get seeing the game is in December & the Bills are typically out of the playoff race by Columbus Day.

our longest running and most revered tradition is the team not making the playoffs and us getting black-out drunk to numb the pain.

Got to agree with this one. There is a lot of drinking that goes on in the parking lot on game day. Don't judge us though, If you had to put up with 15 years of this nonsense you would try to numb the pain as much as possible too.

Depends on what kind of nightlife you're looking for. If you like nightclubs and are ok to spend a ton, then chippewa. Elmwood has more of a hipster feel to it with a lot small businesses with lots of beers you probably have never heard of. Allentown's got more of an artsy, laid back feel to it with a lot of good bars with decent prices. Be sure to hit up the old pink! If you choose to go to a Sabres game, definitely hit up Pearl St. Brewery. The place is hopping right after the game and they have some good microbrewed drafts. There are also a bunch a new places that are being built right next to the sabres arena that should be going strong by the time the Bills-Pack game rolls around.

I got some tips. Buy a Marcus Easley jersey and burn it when you tailgate. Any one that tries to fight you after is a TBD poster. Conversely, if you burn a Stevie jersey, anyone who cheers is Curitiba.

you could be safe to wait to get tickets..if we suck by the bye, you could stub hub a december game for less than $50 i am sure! I went to a december Miami game 2 years ago and people were giving away tickets at the gate!

Some good (cheap sloppy bad for you) food places to check out for a buffalo experience. - teds hot dogs. Mighty taco. Louies hot dogs (get them with sauce). Duffs. Danny's (chicken wing soup). Beef on weck.

For nightlife chippewa area is like the Jersey shore. Elmwood area is kinda of a college hipster vibe. A fun place to check out especially if the sabres are playing is pearl street grill.

As far as lodging with a good central location for entertainment is the holiday inn on Delaware. The embassy suites or Hampton inn on Delaware. If you want to be a baller get a room at the mansion on Delaware.

Keep in mind nothing in erie county is farther than 20 mins. The airport to downtown is 20 minutes. Downtown to the stadium in orchard park (south towns) 20 mins. North to Niagara falls 20 mins or west to canada you can see across the river. Buffalo is a small/medium sized city easy to get around

Go to casinos and strip clubs

OMG! Another where should we go request! (only jabbing at you PACKFNTK!)

Tailgate early at Hammers. Duffs Orchard Park / Bar Bill in East Aurora / Chippewa Strip in Bflo / Ted's Hot Dogs / Sal's Wings in Depew / Schwabl's for Roast Beef in West Seneca (if it is re-opened by then!) / DON'T GO TO ANCHOR BAR / Buffalo Wild Wings in Hamburg / Any Anderson's you can find / The Blue Dolphin Motel / O'Daniels in South Bflo / Pan Am Grill in Hotel Lafayette / Grover's for Burgers / .....oh, that's enough....

Thanks again guys. How are fans towards away fans in Buffalo? Like I said, I have been a number of places and have been treated generally well most everywhere. We expect some good ribbing, but hope it's good natured. We are very respectful, not jackasses.

Depends on where you sit. If you sit in the endzones, you're gonna have a bad time.

You'll get a mix of both. More negative attention if we lose, or get blown out. Hell hath no fury like 50 thousand Bills fans hammered and disappointed.

Found some tickets in the endzone for $115 a piece. That's nutzo cheap!

Wait on your tickets. In late November you'll be able to get club level for that price. Avoid the endzone for December games, it will be full of over-intoxicated people trying to stay warm whist drowning their sorrows.

I have one piece of advice- If you go out to Chippewa or Allen- do not grab a late-night bite to eat at Jim's Steakout. The last thing you want to do is spend the remainder of your time in Buffalo at ECMC getting your stomach pumped.

Wait on the tickets. When the Bills get off to their usual 2-7 start you will be able to get that same seat for half the money if not even less.
