Bills of Boston Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I thought (lesser teams like us, jags etc) alternated prime time home games by year.. is that wrong or another convenient loophole like Thanksgiving this year?
Dirtbag Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 There is no Toronto game. is it in los angeles now?
YoloinOhio Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 My initial scan says 6-10. How's that limb you are sitting on?
BobChalmers Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 This is a good schedule on the only objective metric - they have more rest than their opponents 3 times - less only once Play Jets off their Thursday then return the favor. Play the Packers off GB's Monday Night. Play the Chiefs off our BYE - Chiefs on normal schedule 3 favored - one unfavored - I'll take that over last year's criminal nonsense
YoloinOhio Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I thought (lesser teams like us, jags etc) alternated prime time home games by year.. is that wrong or another convenient loophole like Thanksgiving this year? I thought that too. Guess it isn't a rule anymore.
BobChalmers Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 both jets games are after extra rest I believe Trading - they have extra rest the first time - we have it the second. Both Pats* games come off Pats playing Jets, for what it's worth.
Just Jack Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Room booked for the TBD Annual Home Opener Tailgate (TBDAHOT) Dolphins weekend. Surprised there is no home game before or after Christmas.
boyst Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Went thru the schedule, only one game with extra rest for opponent. Week 10, Jets bye Week 11, Jets @ Bills.
KRT88 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Disappointing No thanksgiving game No Monday night One primetime game And yes, we end the season at NE!
NastyNateSoldiers Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 The only question I have right now is how many teams do we play coming off a bye or Thursday night gms
NyQuil Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 All home games are 1 pm. Could have at least thrown a 4:25 kick off in there.
YoloinOhio Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 @ProFootballTalk: Looks like another blunder for whoever runs the Bills' website; the team's 2014 schedule apparently was posted momentarily and then deleted. Looks like another blunder for whoever runs PFT's twitter account actually, The schedule page of every NFL team is tied to the back end of the NFL.com site and the schedules were up on every team's site at the exact same time, all deleted at the same time. Come on, PFT.
Kellyto83TD Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 This is honestly the first year I am going to agree, we flat got !@#$ed. How the hell can the NFL give a perennial team that doesn't make the playoffs that **** December schedule? And how can you not give Buffalo the thanksgiving day game at Detroit. After all Ralph did for the league? !@#$ you Goddell and !@#$ you NFL. Sorry but this one really pisses me off
YoloinOhio Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 All home games are 1 pm. Could have at least thrown a 4:25 kick off in there. They can flex anytime after week 5 now, so if the Bills are in a playoff hunt they will get the 4:25 kicks.
NastyNateSoldiers Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Went thru the schedule, only one game with extra rest for opponent. Week 10, Jets bye Week 11, Jets @ Bills. Thats better then 7gms off of byes, Thursdays
YoloinOhio Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Trading - they have extra rest the first time - we have it the second. Both Pats* games come off Pats playing Jets, for what it's worth. The Jets typically give the Pats a physical, tough game. So maybe worth something.
jahnyc Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I guess the NFL schedule makers do not think the Bills will be improved this year. Only a Thursday night game (which is what each team gets at a minimum).
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Front 12 games very manageable. Last four not so much. So we're afraid of the Raiders now too?
