I too hope he makes it, but, if not it looks like he's already involved in other enterprises to improve the quality of life of those around him.
Steve O Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Knocked Naaman rossevelt off the roster, I wonder is he is still around football? Final day cut of the Browns last year, free agent now. With a deep WR class his NFL day likely over

Yeah, it seems like he's going to have a good life either way, now that he's got his health issues under control.

3rdand12 Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Didn't his Dad give him the transplant or something carzy
bbb Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Didn't his Dad give him the transplant or something carzy Yeah, that's in the article.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Hopefully he can get long use out of it... A transplant is not a new lease on life, but is merely considered a treatment option for those with kidney failure, due to the myriad of anti-rejection meds and regular check ups that are still required. It's not promising that his own kidneys failed by the age of 25 or however old he is, because whatever killed them will likely kill his transplanted one, too.
swnybillsfan Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 wish him all the best and hope he has a long, satisfying life. he seems like a really good person. the type of guy that takes nothing for granted and lives his life that way. good luck, mr. jones.
