Beerball Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Temporary immovable obstruction? http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2014/04/12/plane-lands-on-golf-course--at-stillmeadow-country-club/7637085/
Steve O Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) The plane forced the hole to be closed for the day, so the obstruction rule is not relevant. For posting purposes, since the hole could not be played, you should post for that hole what your handicap would dictate you should get on it. From the middle and back tees the 17th is the #1 handicap hole at this course and is a par 5. Therefor, those with course handicaps of 1 through 18 should assume boggy and take a 6. Those with course handicaps of 19-36 should assume double-boggy and take 7. Those with course handicaps over 36 should, of course, stick to miniature golf (or at least tee off after me) Edited April 16, 2014 by Steve O
Jim in Anchorage Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I don't know about golf but the guys sure a lousy pilot. I'v seen planes landed in spruce trees come out better than that.
