What difference does it make? He did a good enough job.

let's leave the songs to the singers.

I can understand that. But be careful, if you look at who some of these producers think can actually sing, then I feel safer with a civilian.

Is there something special about this kid?  He's dying of cancer?  Dad's in Iraq?

Did I miss something or is this kinda odd?

They would have gotten Rosanne but after she finished they would have thought the game was over.

Yet another example of why it needs to be sung in the Key of G. Fully 96 percent of people just can't get their voices to hit those high notes.

At least he didn't have all that fluff, draw-out stutter-style crap that most 'singers' now use. I hate that. It was meant to be a simple anthem.

Yes, he was blind.  I did a search for him, and he was born after 26 weeks and weighed a little over a pound (!).

That said, I still don't understand why he sang the anthem...

As far as I've been able to discern, he did the National Anthem last week as well, and did "God Bless America" at last year's Championship game...

Looks like something of a "Philly icon." Braille award winner in 2004 for his achievements.
