Fan in Chicago Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Preseason sched: Hall of Fame Game vs. NY Giants WK1 @ Carolina Panthers WK2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers WK3 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers WK4 vs. Detroit Lions The Panthers will be well rested for this game. As usual, the schedule makers scr*w the Bills
Heathcliff Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 So what is the over/under on how many opponents will be coming off a bye or Thursday night game before playing the Bills? I'll take a shot at 4 (25%).
nucci Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The Panthers will be well rested for this game. As usual, the schedule makers scr*w the Bills Plus Bills have to travel!!
PromoTheRobot Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) Ah, the annual last preseason game vs Detroit. Should be a barnburner! Tradition. Too bad the Steelers aren't here. I could have flipped my tickets for $20 a piece. I love Steelers fans. Edited April 9, 2014 by PromoTheRobot
RyanC883 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Steelers game. Nice. Perhaps the Bills will be down here all week (at latrobe for scrimmage then game).
YoloinOhio Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Plus Bills have to travel!! AND they want us to lend them some of our WRs for the game! Sheesh.
RyanC883 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 AND they want us to lend them some of our WRs for the game! Sheesh. I'll give them TJ for Cam Newton.
Beerball Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Playing Lions twice this year plus joint practices/scrimmage with Pit and then playing them preseason too Could be wrong, but, I thought that would start next year. Eh... I kind of enjoy pre-season... I enjoy the build up to the regular season.. sometimes the regular season not as much! In the preseason there is hope.
Buftex Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Could be wrong, but, I thought that would start next year. In the preseason there is hope. Yup... hope!

Buftex Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Right, because the other games will be exciting. I know what you are saying, but the last pre-season game of the summer (which is always Detroit as far as I recall) is not only a meaningless exhitibition, but doesn't even give fans any real insight to how their team might do in the coming season. I like pre-season games, for what they reveal (or, as it turns out, whait I imagine they reveal) about our squad..but that last game against the Lions is normally pretty unwatchable. But, I still watch...cuz I don't put any value on my own time! Bills have a chance to improve to 3-1 in preseason games against Tampa Bay. jw

oman128 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Why do always play the Lions in pre season, like 12 years in a row.
Beerball Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Bills had an 0-4 preseason record in 1978. jw they won 5 games that season, what's yer point? Why do always play the Lions in pre season, like 12 years in a row. Because of Ralph's tie to the city/team.

CodeMonkey Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Tradition. Too bad the Steelers aren't here. I could have flipped my tickets for $20 a piece. I love Steelers fans. That sucked when they were here on kids day. I had to pay about 10 times more for tickets that year than normal.
