JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 http://forums.twobil...e/#entry3101432 - If the opener is a MNF game do we have the tailgate anyway, knowing attendance would be curtailed or wait to have it until the first Sunday game?
rockpile Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) If the tailgate is a Monday Night, I cannot make it. I would prefer the first Sunday game. That is my vote. Edited April 9, 2014 by rockpile
mead107 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) any time is my vote. Our 2nd granddaughter is due to arrive on the Tuesday after the opener. Edited April 10, 2014 by mead107
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Monday is my vote. Our 2nd granddaughter is due to arrive on the Tuesday after the opener. But you don't know when the opener is yet...
boyst Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Monday is my vote. Our 2nd granddaughter is due to arrive on the Tuesday after the opener. can't you change the flight? Its still pretty early, I have to think you could get it later?
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Monday is my vote. Our 2nd granddaughter is due to arrive on the Tuesday after the opener. Once you know when the opener is, maybe you can have here schedule a C-Section so that you can be where you need to be on opening day.
Heitz Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Does the RV lot still open on Saturday? If so, I'm in! If not, I'm in!
CountryCletus Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Tradition is first home game, no matter what. I also agree with this!
Guffalo Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) First regular season home game Edited April 10, 2014 by Guffalo
billsfan2003 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Since football usually starts the first week of September, that means, if the season opener is on sunday (and a home game), then that would fall on September 7th Which is my birthday! So, if the stars align, you better know you'll be seeing this guy drunk at the Ralph!
rockpile Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Monday is my vote. Our 2nd granddaughter is due to arrive on the Tuesday after the opener. UPS Blue? Did they give a date and time yet? (that's why it is called a delivery) Oh yeah, COMBOBULATIONS!
SDS Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Tradition is first home game, no matter what. Given that every opener in forever has been on Sunday - this isn't a very strong argument at all.
Just Jack Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Given that every opener in forever has been on Sunday - this isn't a very strong argument at all. Maybe not the day of the week, but we have had discussions previously about picking a later game in the season, because of whatever opponent it was at the time. General consensious was to keep it the opener then. There's still 4-5 months once the schedule comes out for people to make travel plans in time.

Duties at home with kids, etc... Saying just take Tuesday off too is rather caviler.
mead107 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 rock Due date, her doctors will induce. Your call Scott. Because it is your party.. so what ever you want I am ok with.
Just Jack Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 It's additional vacation time. Duties at home with kids, etc... Saying just take Tuesday off too is rather caviler. I'd be using vacation time myself, like I do every year. (except 2012 when I was unemployed)

Once you know when the opener is, maybe you can have here schedule a C-Section so that you can be where you need to be on opening day. Given that both you and your child will certainly raise your granddaughter as a Bills fan, I'm sure she would be outraged in the future if she found out you did not do as Jay suggested!
Beerball Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I hadn't considered the impact on those with younguns.
