Stevie Ray Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 oh boy: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000340265/article/brandon-spikes-predicts-two-bills-wins-over-patriots gotta love the optimism, but....
BringBackFergy Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 But when Richard Sherman tweets inane comments he is seen as "witty, intelligent and a competitor". Bravo Mr. Spikes.!!
Kirby Jackson Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I have seen his tweets this afternoon. The m!@#$s are going crazy. Ha ha, it's been a while since the Bills had a player that played with such an edge. I was a little indifferent when the Bills brought him in because of his struggles against the pass but he is growing on me. I have a feeling that he will be absolutely beloved for the way that he plays.
Metal Man Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I saw BillsMafia retweet this just a few minutes before this thread popped up. The media always likes to take anything like this from an athlete and spin it all up into something major but I didn't think much of it. To me it seemed like he was just saying he is looking forward to going up against them and I'd rather have a player saying I can't wait to beat you guys than to say I can't wait for you guys to beat the hell out of us like you usually do.

"4 years a slave" i think goes a bit beyond that, and will rightfully draw some negative attention
Metal Man Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 "4 years a slave" i think goes a bit beyond that, and will rightfully draw some negative attention True, that one unfortunately touches on a hot button subject that is never translated well. I was more talking about the "guaranteeing wins" aspect of the other tweets but fair point that the third was an entirely different animal.
YoloinOhio Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Darryl Talley @DarrylTalley 8m Word 2 ur mutha. RT @hoser33: I think the #Bills needed a bit of that @BrandonSpikes51 swagger. "4 years a slave" i think goes a bit beyond that, and will rightfully draw some negative attention Especially on a slow news day in the NFL. Everyone picked it up.. PFT, SB Nation...
Hazed and Amuzed Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I love it, I really couldn't care less who it offends. He's a football player not a politician.
1B4IDie Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Sweeping the Patriots gets you a key to the city and on the Wall of Fame at this point in time. A boy can dream …
Dorkington Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Like the optimism, but... that basically guarantees two Ls for us
Bronc24 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Absolutely love it. We need to turn the mindset around. Pissing off *Pats fans is just gravy.
thebandit27 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Like the optimism, but... that basically guarantees two Ls for us I'm sure the Pats were planning on laying down for us before these tweets...now, who knows?
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I'm all for this. I don't care how we look at this point. What's the worst that will happen if we lose to them twice? Become the laughing stock of the NFL? Ummmmm we've been there, done that and still doing it. Bring it on!
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Not the biggest Spikes fan in the world but his twitter is pretty funny. But the guy talks/ tweets way too much.
bills1960 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 All these Pats* fans responding to this by saying, "he sucks, he can't cover anything". But he doesn't need to cover, that's what Kiko's there for.

I have a feeling that he will be absolutely beloved for the way that he plays. if this guy does in fact bring a passion, intensity and swagger to the bills then this is a great signing. win, lose or draw, if his mission is to make the patriot games personal grudge matches i may develop a man crush on this guy.
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Go Spikes! Love the attitude, long overdue! Stevie does this and people want to run him out of town.
The Big Cat Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Stevie does this and people want to run him out of town. False.
