d_wag Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 i keep hearing about how saban is leaning towards pees (current LB coach in NE) as his d-coordinator.........but with crennel likely headed to cleveland, isn't pees a candidate to replace him?? why would he go work for miami and not stick with NE? or does belichek have someone else on staff tabbed for the DC job?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I believe he has someone else tabbed. Pees IIRC only joined the Pats last year after their LB'er coach became DC of the Raiders. I'm assuming Pees has some tie-in with Saban.
Happy Days Lois & Clark Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 The Pats DB coach is also a canidate for Defensive Coordinator
Hollywood Donahoe Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 The Pats DB coach is also a canidate for Defensive Coordinator Yep, Eric Mangini. From what I've heard, he seems to be the favorite.
Mike32282 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Yep, Eric Mangini. From what I've heard, he seems to be the favorite. 215114[/snapback] He should be. He's turned crap into a pretty good playing secondary.
Crows57 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I'm always skeptical about how much impact coaches have, but it's good to see the Patriots staff finally being dismantled.
