BillsFan-4-Ever Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Oh man, if only there was a thread where you could talk specifically about things that happened in the book that didn't happen in the TV show. I got the hint and I already posted over there. I'll try to keep the proper story lines in the right thread. 3.5. my answer is in the book readers thread
Dorkington Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I'm glad there was a thread split... Some of the stuff discussed in here is not cool for those of us who haven't read the books.

Then read a !@#$ing book. Bunch of illiterates. Not that the illiterates in the "book" thread are any better, seeing how that bunch of illiterates didn't even notice that some jackwagon misspelled "deaux" in the threat title.

Not that the illiterates in the "book" thread are any better, seeing how that bunch of illiterates didn't even notice that some jackwagon misspelled "deaux" in the threat title. I'd probably take offense to this if I knew what illiterate meant...or book...or jackwagon...so I guess I'm ok with your characterization.

That was this jackwagon, and I did it intentionally. Hoser

DC Tom Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 oh we noticed. we're just not !@#$ing know it alls who give a ratrzazz That's why you have an entirely separate thread dedicated to how much more you know about Game of Thrones than mere viewers.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 That's why you have an entirely separate thread dedicated to how much more you know about Game of Thrones than mere viewers. and I am posting there Tom I'd say relax but we all know what that will do.
Dorkington Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Then read a !@#$ing book. Bunch of illiterates. I simply never heard of the series before the show started (and I didn't hear about the show until season 2. )
Kevin Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Is Tom's idol Tywin Lannister? That may be. But when I picture him I picture Tyrion, with half a nose. I'm not sure why though haha
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 That may be. But when I picture him I picture Tyrion, with half a nose. I'm not sure why though haha more like Walder Frey a crotchety old bugger
Quester74 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 more like Walder Frey a crotchety old bugger Does that make Poojer, Grand Maester Pycell?
Kevin Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 more like Walder Frey a crotchety old bugger Winner! Does that make Poojer, Grand Maester Pycell? Double winner!
DC Tom Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 more like Walder Frey a crotchety old bugger I've got to agree, that's probably more accurate.
Buftex Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I've got to agree, that's probably more accurate. I thought it was a cross between Alec Baldwin and Ashton Kutchner!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 not to repeat myself but, since there is a readers and viewers thread another episode where all of us watching said damn the hour's up already. more of building the plot lines minimal killing and nudity
LB3 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) The scene where Jamie takes Cersei was pretty awkward. Talk about wrong place wrong time. It surprised me because, going back to about halfway through last season, his character has been going through an image transformation. We were getting pushed to view him as a good man or as a tragic hero even. They did this by revealing the real reason he killed the Mad King and by showing him save Brienne from bad situations on multiple occasions. Whelp, so much for that. Back to being a hated character. What, doesn't everyone get a little bit horny when talking to their sister about the kid you incestuously had, while standing next to said kid's corpse?
