PromoTheRobot Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) http://sports.yahoo....1767-slideshow/ You have to click your way through to the Bills. Apparently they think we are way behind the Dolphins (A), Pats (A-) and Jets ( . 25th out of 32. Of course they only name 3 signings. PTR Edited April 4, 2014 by PromoTheRobot
NoSaint Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) Of course they only name 3 signings. PTR they named the 3 starters signed.... it was like a 1 short paragraph blurb on each team... calling rivers a solid signing as a starter might even qualify as generous we probably overpaid for williams, we lost byrd - those things hurt perception, more than a nickel corner or 3rd running back help it. I agree all of these grades by outside Buffalo sports media is purely perception. I'm curious how all of the puzzle pieces end up fitting together. Will these signings complement the draft or not? Nobody knows that yet. Winning the FA game or the draft doesn't necessarily win games. Got to put the pieces together the right way.
KD in CA Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 We lost the 2d best FA on the market and signed a few second or third tier guys. That's how the world outside of WNY sees it.
boyst Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 FA grades should not be by total names, by flashy names and all other issues. FA grades should be about addressing needs on your team and not bolstering big names
NoSaint Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) FA grades should not be by total names, by flashy names and all other issues. FA grades should be about addressing needs on your team and not bolstering big names theres valid questions to be had about our approach all around... I thought the D was harsh but im not near as high on the offseason as some Lost an all pro with no compensation signed williams for quite a bit more than expected and might not fill the hole spikes fills a very specific hole, but might open one in the passing game rivers is potentially again an overpay, but not terribly expensive graham i like a lot and dixon is a 3rd back/special teamer... how much can you say if they all work out to the highest of our hopes, its a nice group but realistically, 1-2 of them are likely to really underwhelm and 1-2 of them will simply be ok role players... hopefully spikes ends up an impact player, and williams really ups his game.
