1B4IDie Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) What does this message mean? Edited April 3, 2014 by Why So Serious?
1B4IDie Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Of which message do you speak? The voices in my head . . . oh wait that was actually the Buffalo Bills app on iPhone.
Buftex Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Does this really change anything? Is she the "sole owner" until she can sell the team?
YoloinOhio Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Diana Ross must be pissed. She can be the soul owner.
Gugny Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The voices in my head . . . oh wait that was actually the Buffalo Bills app on iPhone. Well, Mr. Technology, I can't get that app on my DPC-550 phone.
ctk232 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I posted the link in a new thread but might as well spread the wealth http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Mary-Wilson-becomes-controlling-owner-of-the-Buffalo-Bills/7627d029-46a4-416e-af98-b83b955dfec1?campaign=fb_buf_article
papazoid Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Mary Wilson, wife of the franchises late founder and sole owner, is now the controlling owner of the Buffalo Bills. Edited April 3, 2014 by papazoid
bills1960 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 So does this mean she chooses who the team is sold to?
Jamie Nails Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Looks and sounds like it's nothing more than the logical next step toward a sale of the team.
johnnywo Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I think most of us expected the BILLS to be left in a trust with the intent that the team would be sold and that the family didn't want anything to do with it. The fact that she has been announced as the sole owner makes me hope that they will not be sold. GO BILLS
Just in Atlanta Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Well, someone has to "own" the team before it's sold. It just would seem this should have been messaged before he passed. It appears like "now what do we do?" despite the guy being 95. And Mary is cheap.
Mr. WEO Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Why is this surprising? Who else could the team be passed to without a tax liability?
