Jerry Jabber Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Bills hire their former starting QB Rob Johnson as an Asst QB coach. WTF are they thinking?!
dorquemada Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Bills hire their former starting QB Rob Johnson as an Asst QB coach. WTF are they thinking?! April fools' aside, he's the last Bills QB to play in the playoffs. Sure he sucked relative to JK and what we wanted at the time but honestly RJ > whats come since
DC Tom Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 those who can, do those who can't, teach Colin Brown's going to make a great OL coach.
thurst44 Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 April fools' aside, he's the last Bills QB to play in the playoffs. Sure he sucked relative to JK and what we wanted at the time but honestly RJ > whats come since No, he was/is not. He had a nice drive in that game where he lost a shoe, but he played in the playoffs by coach's decision, he did not play himself there, nor was he any part of the reason they made the playoffs (did not even. As for your assertion (and thankfully you said "what's come since" so we don't have to dredge up rj vs. you-know-who), other than Losman and players who had short runs, he stacks up pretty much the same...only way he distinguishes himself is his astronomical sack rate.
reddogblitz Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) RJ did lead the Bucs to break the sub 40 degree jinx. For QB coach, though, we should have hired Doug Flutie. Edited April 1, 2014 by reddogblitz
Kevin Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Billy Joe Hobert would make an excellent offensive coordinator.
millbank Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 think the only thing more crazy would be for Bills to hire both Flutie and Johnson and put them on staff as team unity coaches.
