Deranged Rhino Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 While I don't agree it's terrible news (death is not terrible in my mind, life should be celebrated not mourned), my heart and prayers go out to Mr. Wilson's family and loved ones. Thank you, Mr. Wilson, for all that you've done for WNY and the team you loved.
phxbacker Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 RIP Ralph ! Thank you for all you have done in Life.
buckeyemike Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 RIP Mr. Wilson. What a sad week for Bills fans.
Stampede Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 RIP Mr. Ralph C. Wilson, my condolences to his family and Bills organization. as a Bills fan i am proud to have had a team owner who will leave a positive and everlasting mark on the NFL. may his contributions always be inseparable from the team that i was destined to be a fan of for as long as there will be Buffalo Bills.....and now it begins.
dollars 2 donuts Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Thank you for the many great times with friends and family your team has given and for all the charitable work you did throughout the years that sometimes get lost in our enthusiasm for winning. Enjoy our Super Bowl victory (when it happens) from the other side! Edited March 25, 2014 by dollars 2 donuts
Taro T Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Here's to hoping his successor feels as loyal to keeping the Bills in town as RW did for 55 years. Once again, RIP RW.
Bills Analyst Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Thank you Mr. Wilson. fior all the memories. Your loyalty to Buffalo will always be remembered. RIP
NoSaint Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 2m Ralph Wilson called #Bills CEO Russ Brandon four days ago about a safety prospect he believed was a 3rd or 4th rounder. Amazing. Pretty cool. its everything great and probably some of the troubles all summed up. He had a passion for the team and the game all the way til the end. For all the griping about him, we were lucky to have someone that cared so much. itll be interesting to see what the future holds. details of the plan surely come out soon.
VanCity Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Sad to have read this. He was a legend in football circles and a fantastic ambassador for both the game and the city of Buffalo. Thank you Ralph.
Tiberius Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Rip Ralph! Wow, born at very end of WW1 What a life!!
Chandler#81 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Despite the inevitability of this, I feel a deep emptiness in my stomach, as if I've lost a close family member. I guess, maybe, I have..
zow2 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Thank you Ralph! when you think of his longevity it's amazing. My parents weren't even married when Ralph's Buffalo Bills suited up for their first game. We celebrated my folks 50th wedding anniversary a couple yrs ago. just crazy. Edited March 25, 2014 by zow2
H2o Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Wow. RIP Ralph. Knew this was coming, but still somehow feel shocked. I hope the Bills can do something special this year on the field in his/Kelly's honor. Wouldn't that be storybook? Go Bills!!!!!
