ink - that's because you still live in WNY! Us out-of-towners need to plan our fall/holiday travel around our Bills. Good video though.

More power to ya. I'm grateful to all the fans, especially out of towners, who still attend games. I find my game day experience 1000x greater at home than at the stadium.

Ha ha..so the schedule will be released tonight...who is going to watch a 3 hour tv special where they roll it out, bit by bit, piece by piece? It's all too much... as somebody said, the NFL is getting "hoggy"! Wonder if they scheduled it tonight, to cut into the cable ratings for Cubans' Mavericks vs Spurs game!

There are usually leaks of certain games by now. Has the NFL gotten tighter control of this?

Maybe they have, but give it a little more time. Something will come out.

not me.

all the fuss over a schedule? there must not be more important events going on ..... or the NFL just rules all sports

We could all guess the # of teams coming off a BYE the Bills will face.

you can pick an Over / Under = 4

or you can be definitive

Bonus points awarded for picking the teams (the Putz not included)

I'm gonna say 2 coming off byes (Chicago, NYJ), with a total of 7 coming off extended rest.

I'm curious to see how the league responds to the greivence that Russ filed last year.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say we play the Patriots* coming off our bye.

C'mon KD, you should know that the NFL Network has been doing this sort of thing for the past several years.

They'll have their silly 2-3 hour special of breaking down the schedule week-by-week.

The thing is, as soon as their program starts, the entire schedule will be posted on all the team websites, so you won't have to watch the show.

There is also a chance that the entire schedule gets leaked 1-2 hours before the official announcement. Stay tuned.

I've always thought the home opener should be against a team that would be a smaller draw later in the season, this year being Minnesota, KC, or San Diego. It's a sure sellout no matter who they play, so leave the better draws for when the weather is worse and our playoff hopes are dashed.

Umm...I will. Besides, it doesn't take that long. By 8:15 p.m. you'll have a notification from the Bills' app with their full schedule. The special is just a lot of fanfare about the primetime games and commenting on "attractive matchups."

Wouldn't a pro spring football league be great right about now, especially if it had NFL prospects playing?

I went to the OSU Spring game on the 12th  That helped. Edited by YoloinOhio

Sorry...I guess there was probably a time when I might have too, but I am not sure...it is just rediculous. I hope they have their expert panel conduct a "fantasy draft" of the games they are most looking forward to... just sounds like 3 brutal hours of television. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to seeing the shcedule too...but not like that.

I am somewhat fascinated by this. Not trying to be a snob...fug, I watch the Pro Bowl most years... I wonder how well this draws viewers, particularly with NBA and NHL playoffs in full rotation. Wonder if it makes a dent ih those broadcasts.

JMO, but I'd say it impacts the NFL cities and their vicinities. The NFL rules all sports in the U.S. Now someone mentioned they'd prefer to watch Columbus/Pitt (which has been excellent so far) and it's likey fans in both cities will have that game on -while multi-tasking about the Steelers & Browns/Bengals schedules.

In short, if you're area doesn't have a pro team, I don't think this program will sell.

I hear ya, and I won't be sitting there for three hours either. I just wanted to clarify that you can have the full schedule within minutes, not hours.

For me, this show would easily trump an NBA game of any variety.

Flex scheduling trashes the plans of the stadium fan. Travel plans, arrangements etc.....and night games in the north during the winter months are a killer. People has to work the next day....and its a bummer for sure. All this for the TV dollar......I guess nothing to be done though.....I am a season ticket holder, and I sell my seats on the NFL ticket exchange for the night games......I don't like the cold without some sun. I do have to admit, the crowd at a night game is a zoo, and fun to watch though.

I was thinking this too when the rumors about a MNF game as the opener were floating around. I think it would be great but a MNF game against anyone any time of the year would sell out so putting it as the opener which is another guaranteed sell out is kind of a waste.

Also...

How often have the Bills been flexed at home or even at all?

I can only remember one time offhand. I think it was in 2007 against the Pats* in that game where Moss had like 4 or 5 tds in the first half.
