FluffHead Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Unfortunately This fuels the RT at 9 narrative
billsfan89 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 This smart bargain shopping the Bills are doing. Talent Wise Britt is the type of receiver the Bills need big with some speed, an outside of the slot type presence. Depends what type of money he will command but its a good look to kick the tires on the guy.
FluffHead Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Have to imagine Carolina will pay him and offer the playing time he wants. What a mess they have on their hands at receiver
SmokinES3 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Unfortunately This fuels the RT at 9 narrative I hope not... but you make a good point. This smart bargain shopping the Bills are doing. Talent Wise Britt is the type of receiver the Bills need big with some speed, an outside of the slot type presence. Depends what type of money he will command but its a good look to kick the tires on the guy. Agreed
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Million Dollar Talent with a 10 cent head. Be leery OBD. Maybe 5.
sodbuster Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Ian Rapoport reporting he's headed in for a visit. So much for denying interest. Edited March 21, 2014 by sodbuster
Jamie Nails Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Ian Rapoport reporting he's headed in for a visit. So much for denying interest. For posterity; from Rap Sheet Agent Pat Dye said on @SiriusXMNFL that #Bills have interest in WR Kenny Britt. Turns out, that's the spot of his next visit, per source
Doug Flutie Band Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 kenny britt is USELESS this would be a terrible terrible signing
dezertbill Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Watkins is being mocked top 5 these days, up from when he used to be mocked to the Bills. Shows they aren't big on Evans. OT with first pick a definite if this goes down. Doubt it though. He had attitude in Tenn and seemed like another Stevie Johnson in that area. Don't think the Bills want two of those.
thewildrabbit Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 He's da'rick plus a dozen arrests and a torn ACL I'm hoping the Panthers sign him asap.
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Doubt it though. He had attitude in Tenn and seemed like another Stevie Johnson in that area. Don't think the Bills want two of those. Stfu. Comparing stevie to kenny britt is the stupidest thing ive Read on here in a while and ive read some stupid things. If they sign britt they would have only one of "those" and that would be britt. If britt had stevies "attitude" I would sign him in a heartbeat. Edited March 21, 2014 by kr632
Chandler#81 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Even if he signs with us, we still need to take one in the draft.
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Doubt we take a chance on Britt. OT is likely anyway and the smart move except Bills have made it clear that our second safety is already on the roster. Dead give away we are looking at safety.
machine gun kelly Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 You might be right, I'm just speculating. And if TJ is shown the door, I'd be quite happy. I just don't think it's going to happen. They've invested too much into him to throw him away now. Marrone can't afford not to show progress this year. He doesn't have to make the playoffs but it is important he at least gets to 9-7. He's not going to trust Graham again after so many drops. I think this is why he is looking at Britt. He doesn't have to be an every down receiver. This will help him to stay healthy.
BuffaloFan68 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 We still have Kaufman on the practice squad for tall depth. I can see Britt going to Miami or Carolina.
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Have to imagine Carolina will pay him and offer the playing time he wants. What a mess they have on their hands at receiver Agree with this. Carolina needs someone w a body temp to catch passes. I'm betting he winds up here!!
YoloinOhio Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Kevin Massare @KevinMassare 4h Stayed up late to confirm Kenny Britt will indeed be visiting the team here shortly. Expect a productive visit.
ALF Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Time to roll the dice, worth a try. ( see beast mode )
