There is a news clip. On the weather channel about her.

I never watch the weather channel. How would this tie in with weather?

Is that like Music Television (MTV) having nothing to do with music?

Just home from the visitation/prayer service. This place is my sanctuary sometimes..feel so idiotic posting here, but i guess cheaper than a shrink.Hug your loved tonights all, hug everyone.

This is going to be a difficult process for all of you involved. Nothing wrong with the bolded advice.

Hi All,

If anybody is in Richmond please consider coming down to Browns Island today for the Speak Up 5K in honor of Cameron. No need to run, should be just a great celebration..

Again, i was not part of planning this, but great cause and her parents are a true inspiration. Her best friend Abbey has really done so much on the race, and is still struggling with the whole thing. Please keep her in your thoughts. Daves letter is just awesome

We just got back.

Cameron's brother, Andrew, is in the same graduating class as my son this year and the graduating class always holds this formal event (May 20 this year). This year the boys and their dates organized themselves to spell out Cameron's initials and then someone presented Andrew with flowers and there was a moment of silence. Then the parents came down to take the flowers from their son and spoke briefly. I don't believe there was a dry eye in the place...it's heartbreaking.

Wow, that's rough. Hang in there.

My sister works closely with those families in Newtown, CT. I couldn't face that level of grief on a daily basis, but I guess it's easy compared to what the families themselves are facing.

Sounds like one heluva tribute. Tragedies do have a way of bringing out the best in people, no?

It does, this event reminded me if the fundraiser we did for my brother and his family...great to see in Richmond
