dave mcbride Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201301200nwe.htm I counted 11 tackles by the newest Bill. This does not count assists.
RuntheDamnBall Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 The tackles indicated a lot of gains -- and several first downs, but I can't recall all the particulars of the game. Wish we had PD stats as well. Regardless, it seems like he takes his responsibilities in the run game seriously.
Rico Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I like him best though for his contribution to Peyton Manning's play-off legacy the week before.... that pick-6 and the OT-int were pretty sweet!
dave mcbride Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) He had six tackles in the Super Bowl too. He clearly has big game experience at the highest level. http://www.pro-footb...01302030rav.htm He also had 8 against Indy in the WC game and 8 against the Broncos (plus the key INT in OT). All told, he had 33 tackles in 4 postseason games. Over 16 games, that rate works out to 132. I'm not suggesting that a high tackle number is a sign of good play; often it's not, and someone has to get credited with a tackle on every play even if it's after a 50-yard gain. Still, he clearly was in the thick of it during a historic run. Edited March 13, 2014 by dave mcbride
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) Did he ever play for the bears? I seem to remember a player I thought his last name was graham that was from buffalo a few years ago. He was interviewed before the game and said he would like to play for the bills someday EDIT: yup it was him. Edited March 13, 2014 by kr632
Rico Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 He also had 2 pics against Geno Smith last year IIRC.
