Can you imagine the vets that would have tried to become the missing piece to put that team over the top?? They would take these discounted TJ Ward type deals. That is a part of the reason that good teams stay good. If you look at someone like Denver or New England they are able to get good veteran players at a good price to plug holes. The Bills ongoing QB struggles are the beginning and end of their playoff hopes, and it is a major handicap in attracting top talent at a more equitable price.
