The Poojer Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 um...isn't her admitting and apologizing considered being 'accountable"? He says he has sympathy for the teacher because she admitted it was a mistake, but he also wants accountability. From Merriam Webster Definition of ACCOUNTABILITY : the quality or state of being accountable; especially : an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to accountfor one's actions <public officials lacking accountability> http://www.arkansasm...Pp0i5VVHgyBhgCg

PastaJoe Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 It would only be fair if she showed it on parent-teacher night so the parents can judge if it was acceptable.
KD in CA Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 um...isn't her admitting and apologizing considered being 'accountable"? Not without the requisite media-fed public shaming.
The Poojer Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 D'oh! forgot about that! Not without the requisite media-fed public shaming.
SmokinES3 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) My biggest concern would be my child learning from someone that disorganized and moronic. This isn't a case of "it could happen to anyone". The subject matter wouldn't be my beef necessarily, depending on the child's age. If this wasn't public sector with union protection, she'd already be out the door. I don't know that that's the way to go or not but I wouldn't cry her a river... BTW, anyone see the concerned father's supposed arrest record in the comments? Lol Edited March 14, 2014 by SmokinES3
