I was referring to LB only. But as to your point, there ar 124 FBS schools. Do team reps go to school all pro days?

Only the schools of the guys they are interested in drafting. By now, they have compiled enough research to know which schools they need to send someone to. They also go to their games in the fall.

Exatly. Why would teams travel to see the same thing again a week later?

To see if the times will be different? How much different can they be? And so what if they are?

They do also have the ability to spend more 1:1 time and up close with the players and talk to their coaches. The combine is a real cattle call, this allows more access. Think of it like a second interview. The final interview being when they bring the early round guys in to the facility pre-draft for in-depth interviews.

And since I know how much you are Johnny Football's Super Fan #99 B-) , you may have heard that he is actually having his own pro day separate from A&M's. So reps have to come for the pro day to see Evans and others, then come back again for JFF.

Texas AM is different than UB...also, I understand the concept of Pro Day, just wasn't sure what Mack would show them (outside of interview) that they didn;t just see.

Also, I was getting at the fact that if Mack wasn't there, I doubt many teams would be showing up at UBs Pro Day. Are they also going to Toledo's Po Day? Miami Ohio? Do those schools even have one?

That UB running back reminds me of MJD for the jags! Hes a solid player!

He's the all-time leading rusher at UB breaking James Starks record.

This UB pro day will have some players from other MAC schools there.

Right on, they wouldn't. I honestly do not know if they would have one.

Yes, UB has never had a Pro Day before Mack...if you don't count all the ones they've the last few years.

As I said, I honestly did not know. Good to know!

Edit: I didn't mean that I didn't think they would have one at all if not for Mack.... I meant they would not send as many scouts if not for him.

I didn't know this but that is a great way to get the conference some more coverage. Every year there is a top MAC prospect so it makes sense to have a conference pro day featuring the elite guy while all the rest to perform in front of all the scouts.

I agree - I just meant that because of Mack's projection toward top 10 or higher, teams may send more total guys or a GM to Buffalo instead of just a random scout, giving him more exposure.

FWIW I know a guy that was a captain at SE LA and participated in their pro day last year. They had Robert Alford on their team (ATL's 2nd round pick) and he said that there were like 30 teams represented. There were only like 4 or something the year before. Mack's presence is a good thing for Oliver, Neutz, etc...

Supposedly Neutz had to pull out of the pro day with a hammy

Jon Moore@TheCFX 38m

Very unfortunate RT @wgrzpete: Alex Neutz pulls hamstring in the 40, done for the day. @WGRZ #UBProDay

Chris Trapasso@ChrisTrapasso 38m

I think UB RB Bo Oliver will get drafted. Ran in 4.60-4.65 range. Extremely cut. Caught ball fluidly in on-field drills. Compact between OTs

Jay Skurski@JaySkurski 1h

Najja Johnson with a 4.32 on his second 40 attempt. Again, that's unofficial, but he's got blazing speed.

Jasen Carlson is a good guard and he could be a help to the Bills.

If he is who I think he is, he played really well before he got hurt. Would be worth a shot as a udfa for sure.

Jasen got hurt during the season but prior to that he was playing very well opening big holes.

The nice thing is that Jason is also Western New York boy he's from Jamestown and attended Southwestern high school.

I see him more as a backup right now then a starter but in a year or two I think he could be the real deal.
