PromoTheRobot Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Happening March 4th. I assume it's not a public event. Mack is in. The rest of the field TBA. http://www.ubbullrun.com/2014/2/27/5453426/ub-announces-football-pro-day?utm_source=ubbullrun&utm_medium=nextclicks&utm_campaign=articlebottom PTR
apuszczalowski Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I thought this was going to be about how Ralph and the Bills were too cheap to send anyone there to watch it..................
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Buffalo airport should be abuzz with scouts and GMs. Go Kahlil. Maybe Neutz and Oliver get a good look as well.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) What does a LB do at a Pro Day? 40... 20 yard shuttle... 3-cone drill... vertical jump... broad jump Edited February 28, 2014 by YoloinOhio

NoSaint Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 What does a LB do at a Pro Day? everything a LB does at the combine
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 everything a LB does at the combine And their times are usually a bit more inflated than at the combine
sodbuster Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Buffalo airport should be abuzz with scouts and GMs. Go Kahlil. Maybe Neutz and Oliver get a good look as well. Olivier will get attention from a lot of teams. If he doesn't get a good look, something is wrong with the league.
BillsBytheBay Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 And their times are usually a bit more inflated than at the combine I would argue it's also a more comfortable environment. Not sleep deprived. Not having to worry about scheduling and interviews. I'm not saying numbers don't get inflated, but I'm sure some prospects actually perform better.

I agree - I just meant that because of Mack's projection toward top 10 or higher, teams may send more total guys or a GM to Buffalo instead of just a random scout, giving him more exposure.
marauderswr80 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 That UB running back reminds me of MJD for the jags! Hes a solid player!
chris heff Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I would not mind Oliver in a Bills uni. The orphan kid? I've heard of him.
purple haze Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) I would not mind Oliver in a Bills uni. Hear, hear... Edited February 28, 2014 by purple haze
Mr. WEO Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 40... 20 yard shuttle... 3-cone drill... vertical jump... broad jump everything a LB does at the combine Exatly. Why would teams travel to see the same thing again a week later? To see if the times will be different? How much different can they be? And so what if they are?
sodbuster Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Exatly. Why would teams travel to see the same thing again a week later? To see if the times will be different? How much different can they be? And so what if they are? Because more players from the college will be there. UB only had one player in Indy. How else are they going to know anything about the UDFAs?
Mr. WEO Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Because more players from the college will be there. UB only had one player in Indy. How else are they going to know anything about the UDFAs? I was referring to LB only. But as to your point, there ar 124 FBS schools. Do team reps go to school all pro days?
