thebandit27 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) http://profootballta...dqwell-jackson/ Anyone interested? I feel that he could play the inside role that the team is looking for...he's been healthy and productive for Cleveland. Edited February 26, 2014 by thebandit27
Fixxxer Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Always liked this guy, hope we're interested.
Big C Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Reading on PFF, Jackson has not been as good in recent years, but prior to that he excelled in a 4-3 base scheme. Seems like he might be a decent fit for us if the price is right.
YoloinOhio Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Awesome player and leader. I would do back flips, seriously.
thebandit27 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Awesome player and leader. I would do back flips, seriously. I'm expecting video
YoloinOhio Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I'm expecting video I need to get in Gilmore's yoga program first... then watch out!
KOKBILLS Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I usually ignore these "this guy got cut...interested?" threads... But Jackson? Can't see how the Bills will not at least inquire...He's a good player at a need position...
Justice Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Can we claim him off waivers? Minnesota is the only team that concerns me if so. Edited February 26, 2014 by NoJustice

NoSaint Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Can we claim him off waivers? Minnesota is the only team that concerns me if so. he should be a fully unrestricted free agent
section122 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Can we claim him off waivers? Minnesota is the only team that concerns me if so. I'm not sure. I'm also wondering, in conjunction with this, since he has been cut is he free to negotiate now? Or does he have to wait until March 11th as well?

That is what I thought. I would think this would be great move for the Bills. It would fill a definite need and push down the priority of drafting one at 9. It would certainly give them options heading into the draft.

VanCity Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I guess he doesn't fill what Pettine wants in his scheme there, but this seems to be a no-brainer for the Bills. Also, if he lived in Cleveland for that long, he could definitely be just fine with living in Buffalo. He may have his pick of the litter as he is a strong player that any number of teams should pursue. Fingers are crossed

Fingers are crossed the twist being that so many have said we will be keeping much of pettines scheme here as a counter to discussion about schwartzs schemes. really, until we see some more info, its hard to advocate for any defensive players right now as we dont know what we will be running. ecgetty Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 This is a NO BRAINER. Much better option than Spikes. Please FO make a move ASAP. As said on twitter, moving van and limo should already be on I-90 to stalk him.

Fingers are crossed I'm not convinced of that...the Browns have done a lot of strange things organizationally in the last year, cutting Jackson to avoid paying his $4M roster bonus without consulting the coach would be but a pebble on a mountain of dysfunction.
DasNootz Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 He's been a beast in Madden in recent years... get 'er done
