NoSaint Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I remember drafts where the #1 pick would already be signed prior to the draft. Jake Long comes to mind. with negotiations being a bit less contentious at the top of the draft lately, im guessing teams are less worried about being able to get a deal done (or using money as a tiebreaker between two guys). in a spot like this its probably more valuable to keep on the clock and see what gets offered to you. cant hurt.
John from Riverside Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 We lost Pettine, so we're basically starting over... I'm not happy about that, but hey, it is what it is. Jury is still out on the new guy. After what he did with Suh and Fairley in DET, The Schwartz is gonna have to prove his worth to me. We are NOT starting over.....christ where do people come up with this stuff? Why are people even considering this kind of move when we have Mario Williams on the team?
