Prickly Pete Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I have nothing against Marino, but he never said anything remotely interesting, and is way too uptight to ever be funny. I am surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Prickly Pete Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I am glad to see Shannon Sharpe go. Marino surprises me. I'd rather see Boomer go rather than Marino. Â Am I the only one who like CBS pre game? It's the only one I watched every Sunday. Fox was way to goofy for me. Seriously, what was there to like (or dislike) about Marino? Esiason, can be annoying, but at least he is giving a strong opinion. Marino was almost invisible.
starrymessenger Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I know that there are two of them but is Shannon the one that looks exactly like Miles the Mascot. If so I thought he was pretty funny. Didn't even realize he had a speech defect tho so maybe I was laughing at him instead of with him without knowing it.
e2gsports Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 The closed captioning union people are very happy to see Sharpe gone.
dwight in philly Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa9LNPwZIGA Favorite Marino moment ever.
purple haze Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I always tune into the Fox pre-game and will flip sometimes during commercials to the CBS one. I am not a fan of CBSs show, fox makes their show fun and they can joke around with each other, while CBSs show just seems too rigid to me.  Having Marino gone might help, although adding Gonzalez I don't think will.  I hate all of the network pre-game shows. Too much that has nothing to do with football. I’m old school. I just want game analysis, on-site reports, features about league issues and business. No more concerts. No more impressionists. I just come for the football, not the rest.
Direhard Fan Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Only watch Fox and than the AFC. Actual missed the Guys during the play offs when they were on late. They keep the show moving and seem to truly enjoy each other.
thewildrabbit Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I watch CBS because I primarily follow AFC...I did like it better than Fox Same here Yolo. Sharpe was funny, and I got a kick out of him. Danny boy might have gotten be to expensive. Sorry guys, I can't stand Fox because of the one finely hair coiffed jerk being on their panel. Yea, i'm just like an elephant!
SF Bills Fan Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 They cycle in new blood constantly so no surprise.
KevinInThe781 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Dan will now have more time to spend with his 'other' family. Â I was surprised Marino had survived this long at CBS after that became public. I definitely don't see another network putting him on.
Mark Vader Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 To me ESPN's NFL Gameday is still the best around at having any actual game analysis. Â CBS is ok but nothing special. Â FOX is just a circus. Dumb joke after dumb joke and the guys on the panel are always laughing at every dumb joke. And just how long do we have to put up with that ridiculous robot?
YoloinOhio Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 The rumor I heard on local radio (i.e. probably wrong) is that CBS is trying to downsize its group to make room for Peyton Manning, eventually, to join.
Not at the table Karlos Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I am glad to see Shannon Sharpe go. Marino surprises me. I'd rather see Boomer go rather than Marino. Â Am I the only one who like CBS pre game? It's the only one I watched every Sunday. Fox was way to goofy for me. I watch cbs every week. I cant watch fox. It is possibly the worst trash on tv. I cant watch the pre game. I cant watch games I cant watch anything to do with sports on fox it is beyond terrible

YoloinOhio Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 shannon looks like the california raison Whenever I see him I think about the time he was playing for the Broncos and he called the national guard from the sideline because they were "killing the Patriots"
Max997 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I'm sure both will end up on NFL Network as they have cornered the market on terrible TV personalities
