Trade Hughes to Cleveland, I'm not asking too much a 2014 3rd and a 2015 conditional 4th, he doesn't fit this system as much, he's on the last year of his rookie contract. This just makes sense for both teams.

Collectively saves us about 10 million towards the cap.

Re-sign Chandler and Moats, 2.4 a year for Chandler and 1.4 for Moats

Draft

1-Sammy Watkins-if available, a bigger more physical Harvin, also a Bills fan...Mike Evans is my 2nd choice.

2-Austin Seferian Jenkins- biggest TE in draft and a good athlete, number 2 TE, till he passes over Chandler

3a-Shayne Skov-ILB, 2 down banger. Allows kiko to play weakside.

3b-Cyril Richardson, Baylor offensive linemen have not done well lately, there are lots of guards in this draft plus a poor senior bowl week and he falls to the third round.

4-Piere Desir-CB, small school, but good size and athletic ability. 4th DB to start season.

5-Seantral Henderson-OT, size and athletic, has lots of raw talent, needs motivation. Made mistakes in the past but has owned up to them. Development guy

6-JC Copeland- 6' 285 fullback, basically an offensive lineman in the backfield.

7-punter...Moorman's replacement.

Sign

Zack Strief-best RT in the NFL in 2013 (according to PFF) wrong side of 30 and started career with Coach Marrone...3 year 7.8 million dollar deal...PFF score...26.5, pears' -5

Richie Incognito-yes, this would be interesting at least, wrong side of 30 and damaged goods (not through injury) Vernon Davis likes him though. +6.8 in 8 games vs Brown/Legursky's -42.5...2 year deal worth 5 million...allows Richardson to develop.

Transition tag Byrd, allows us to match first offer or decline it and let him walk.

Sign Jarred Allen, 3 year 20 million all guaranteed...gives Mario a hunting buddy, Allen has made his money, guaranteed money and the chance to play on a great DL again brings him to buffalo.

Allen-Williams-Dareus-Williams looks pretty good on paper.

Financially this could happen and work.

Hughes is coming off a career year and still has a lot of upside. Why would you want to trade him?

Absolutely no way the Bills or any team signs Incognito.

I agree with the OP on Hughes. At this point he's worth the most were going to get most likely. Trade him now while you can. If you can get at least a 3rd for him.

Lost me at Moats. The guys good but he will probably want starting money and he's not worth that. Good backup, bad starter.

Why bother with Allen? He's not that dominant anymore is he?

I like Watkins. It's great he's a Bills fan and all and I know he "plays bigger than his size" but the guys still not a big physical dominant WR. We need someone in the Mike Evans mold.

You threw a lot on the wall, but why Moats? Great guy, but, someone who should be relegated to special teams (IMO).

Are you willing to go into the season with the 4 QB's currently owned by the Bills or would you bring in another vet to compete?

So much I don't like about this: First, Hughes does fit system, he is ideal wide-9 end, no way I trade him for anything less than Cleveland's 2nd 1st round pick, but I wouldn't trade him, we NEED good players. Second, Chandler and Moats are non-headlines, okay if they keep them for the right price, but neither are impact players. I doubt Richardson (Baylor) will b there in round 3, he is most likely high 2nd. I don't want Jarred Allen, too old, unless we get him cheap and NO WAY, NO WAY, I want Incognito and his poison anywhere near WNY ! I am warming to Watkins with our #1, however.

Some team will sign him. But that team will remain incognito, until ESPN finds out who it is.

 HUH ?? Allen is still a force & Hughes should be a good depth player or specialist for the pass rush if we can keep guys that can put pressure on the QB up front … As long as he's not expecting huge money !!!

Nope. I heard that Dallas has hired a new cafeteria caterer, and NFL Network has 24/7 around the clock breaking coverage. From where I sit, it looks like they have also gotten ESPN to join them in their quest to wear Jerry Jones as a hat.

I love how we always draft Skov no matter what. He is this year's Casey Matthews. What is different about Skov is that even though he won't be there when we draft in the second, many people have us taking him in the third. Why not the 7th or UDFA? It is just as ridiculous.

I'm so over the "trade everyone that's good" crowd on this board. I have faith that Jim Schwartz can figure out a way to use a guy that got 10 sacks last year. Why would you want to give Pettine another piece to use? Cleveland is a prime competitor with the Bills as a team to break through and get a wild card. I don't want to make our team worse and theirs better. I don't care how many 4th round draft picks you throw at me.
