My wife lost her 16 month battle this morning. She was surrounded by her kids and I. Her last few days in hospice was a real comforting experience. My sweet Beautiful wife is no longer suffering. I will wait patiently until the day I join her in heaven. I am not sure how I will get along without her though. She was not only my wife, but my best friend. This hurts really bad. Thank you so much for your support through this terrible ordeal.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry everytime you posted an update, Westie.. I'm so sorry for your loss. But, the lightlighted portion is what should be focused on, now.. do not linger on what you have lost, but on what she has gained. As for the rest of us.. hug your loved ones a little tighter today..

thank you for your kind words and support. My wife and I have been blessed by so many friends and family. The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming. With the help of my kids, we planned her funeral arrangement. Without there support, I don't know how I would make it through this. My wife was a clerk for one of the judges in my town, she was so loved by them, the chief of police will have bagpipes and police escort for the funeral. She was loved by many.

Westside, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take comfort in the knowledge that she has ended her suffering and will be waiting for you on the other side of the bridge between here and forever.
