Marv's Neighbor
I was a kid when Your Show of Shows was on, and don't remember much of that, but he was great in It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. To me, that's still a very funny movie. Imogene was priceless in the movie Vacation. RIP Sid!

Wacka
wasn't his show also fictionalized by the Dick Van Dyke show? In the pilot, Carl Reiner played Dick Van Dyke's role. Reiner has said it was based on his time at Your Show of Shows.

Nanker
Sid Caesar was a comedic genius. RIP. Another genius was Steve Allen. He started The Tonight Show and was an incredible piano player. Letterman stole his act.
Buftex
Sid Caesar was a comedic genius. RIP. Another genius was Steve Allen. He started The Tonight Show and was an incredible piano player. Letterman stole his act. Seriously? Being influenced by somebody is the same as "stealing" their act:? If that is the case, a whole generation owes a hell of a lot to Letterman, for knowing who to steal his act from. Was watcing this over the weekend...some classic stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNbT9Lf9xZo Edited February 17, 2014 by Buftex
