Jamie Nails Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Finally something my wife and I can watch together. The episode is currently airing, but will surely be replayed. Follows him as he looks for his first place in B-Low. Kid has a great personality and it really underscores his desire to be here and win. Watch and you can't help but want him to succeed.
FluffHead Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Replaying at 2am. I hope he makes it out of this episode healthy
Jamie Nails Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 He does get into a bathtub (clothed) at one point and my first thought, unfortunately, was don't hurt yourself.
Maury Ballstein Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Nice just fired up the DVR for 2am.
mrags Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 He made the right choice. However, I can't imagine that the cost would have been much more to purchase that home. Off the top of my head it can't be more than 300-400k. Even with ridiculous WNY taxes, he could have owned that house for less than 3k per month. Just an observation. Glad he didn't take the downtown loft though.

Glad he didn't take the downtown loft though. I did the math. I can buy 25 houses on the block where I grew up for the price of my current home. I dreamt of buying an entire block on the west side and tearing everything down and building a castle with a moat. It's be awesome! But I'm sure there would be protest to save the ****ty tenements. Pretty much any change ever in Buffalo is protested. EJ likely could have paid cash for the home. Although with interest rates being so low he probably could get a commercial loan to pay for the house then beat the interest in the stock market.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I was hoping we'd see him pretty often on ESPN, but I guess HGTV is a start.
Maury Ballstein Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Max the pitbull will appreciate the choice.
YoloinOhio Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I was hoping we'd see him pretty often on ESPN, but I guess HGTV is a start. We have seen him on ESPN (and NFL Network) "pretty often." There is a thread for most, if not all, of his shows, appearances and interviews.
Mr. WEO Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 He made the right choice. However, I can't imagine that the cost would have been much more to purchase that home. YoloinOhio Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 He's renting? Most players (and coaches) rent during their first contract with a team in a new city. Very common.
Mr. WEO Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Most players (and coaches) rent during their first contract with a team in a new city. Very common. I know. The OP had mentioned that the show somehow "really underscores his desire to be here".
YoloinOhio Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I know. The OP had mentioned that the show somehow "really underscores his desire to be here". My mistake.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Which room will Tim Graham be killed in? Well-done. You would also pay the full cost of your home per year in taxes.
The Big Cat Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Which room will Tim Graham be killed in? The Trophy Room, with the Super Bowl MVP.
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 The Trophy Room, with the Super Bowl MVP. And if this ever happened, no jury in WNY would ever convict him.
The Big Cat Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 And if this ever happened, no jury in WNY would ever convict him. Oh Hell No. What does it say about me that I can't picture EJ bludgeoning TG to death with that pointy star trophy, Lombardis lining the walls in the background, and not smile? I suppose the poetic justice is just too beautiful.
YoloinOhio Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I missed it and it doesn't look like it is going to be replayed, at least for awhile. It also isn't available on the HGTV site. Where did he end up living - OP?
yungmack Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Which room will Tim Graham be killed in? Hysterical.
