Sisyphean Bills Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 You were saying? DEFENSE!!! To be fair though, the Seattle defense has barely been on the field until that drive ... and of course they scored. Ah, nevermind.
26CornerBlitz Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) Seattle Ball...Wow this is getting Uglier! Check that...He looks down by contact. Edited February 3, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
Max997 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I give Seattle a lot of credit here but could Denver be any less prepared to play
bisonbrigade Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 And everyone wants the fancy passing game. Give me the hard hitting defense and running game anytime.
oman128 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Peyton Manning better have one hell of a second half comeback in him or this is going to be an rout!!! Then we'll have to hear about Peyton's legacy or lack there of.
NoSaint Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 You were saying? DEFENSE!!! I was saying up 15 with 42 to go is too early to declare it over. They could score two more tds before the half and I'd still think that 15 with 42 to go is way early.
jaybee Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Two weeks of hype for this? Horrible football game.
Sisyphean Bills Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Goodell could only afford a seat in the stands?
26CornerBlitz Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Goodell could only afford a seat in the stands? I think he's trying to make an unspoken point of the NY/NJ Outdoor Super Bowl being no issue.
NoSaint Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I'd kick it - stop the bleeding and atleast put points on the board before the half. I know its not ideal but atleast it's SOMETHING to hang your hat on going into the half
Fan in Chicago Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I agree - should have taken the points . What a one sided superbowl ! This is boring
Max997 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 One of either first half performances I've ever seen
26CornerBlitz Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I agree - should have taken the points . What a one sided superbowl ! This is boring I think it's damn impressive on the part of Seattle with the fast a physical defense. I'm enjoying it.
boyst Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 As I said in the shoutbox, I really cannot believe this. The Seahawks walking away with this game like Dallas did Super Bowl 27. It is amazing. Denver/Seattle is Buffalo/Dallas SB27. two things I will hate with the Seahawks winning: 1) Pete Carroll hype, and how brilliant of a coach he is 2) That Manning is still < Brady, Brady has rings, Manning just 1.
Chef Jim Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I know nothing about the Bruno Mars guy but the promos they've been doing for him sounds just like crap the Black Eyed Peas played a couple of years ago?? Am I the only one on this or am I just an old fart?
OldTimer1960 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 You HAVE to have a great QB like Peyton Manning to have a chance - keep drafting QBs in round 1! Maybe, just maybe defense and an adequate QB might win.
Jim in Anchorage Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I know nothing about the Bruno Mars guy but the promos they've been doing for him sounds just like crap the Black Eyed Peas played a couple of years ago?? Am I the only one on this or am I just an old fart? yes and yes.
ColdBlueNorth Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 OK, I wanted the Seahawks to win because they don't have a SB win but after watching that blatant pass interference non-call and the twitch false-start called on Denver's o-line...that killed that key Denver drive why should I worry. The fix is in.
Chef Jim Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 yes and yes. The second question was rhetorical you !@#$. LOL
