Prickly Pete Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Can't they just "break in" a couple/few helmets each year during training camp? Wear a few different helmets during non-contact drills? That really is a ridiculous rule, and it's all to make the appearance that they have "taken every possible precaution" to protect the players.
Pondslider Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I hate the idea of red jerseys for the Bills almost as much gold jerseys for the Sabres.
Shamrock Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 What about a large yellow 5 pointed star with 4 smaller stars in a crescent set off the larger star on the red uni's! I mean there's a billion or more fans there...
SoulMan Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Lose the white helmets....bring back the red ones.
jimmy10 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 No they don't. When we wear our throwbacks the helmets are with the standing buffalo instead of the charging buffalo. Where did you hear this from? When players are fitted for a helmet at the beginning of the year, they must wear that helmet all season long. Look at every "alternate" helmet in the league. Every one simply involves removing or switching out decals.
machine gun kelly Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Many teams have a 3rd jersey, Baltimore has purple white and black Miami has green white and the occasional orange jersey. The Bills should come out with an alternate red jersey. I'd be up for it. I love the change they made a few years back. Those royal blue jerseys are fantastic. Puts us in the same look as the traditional Bears and Steelers jerseys.
