IDBillzFan Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Their best work was the Flash Gordon soundtrack. "FLASH.....Ahhh ahhhh....He'll save every one of us!" 213606 I was a pretty big fan of Queen, primarily because I thought their vocals were pretty phenomenal. Then one night playing poker at a friend'se house, he threw in a Queen concert DVD just as background filler, and after 30 minutes of watching Freddie Mercury prance around the stage in Daisy Duke shorts and his Village People moustache, I decided it was just better to listen to them on CD.
bartshan-83 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I change my vote. The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again.
Ralonzo Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Ok, ok, for real this time: "The Leper Affinity" by Opeth
millbank Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Baba O'Reilly by Who, Out here in the fields I fight for my meals I get my back into my living I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland Sally ,take my hand Travel south crossland Put out the fire Don't look past my shoulder The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together Before we get much older Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland Teenage wasteland Oh, oh Teenage wasteland They're all wasted!
rockpile Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I saw the Who in Rochester right after they released Who's Next. That may be one of best rock and roll albums ever done. They even smashed their equipment after the show. Thanks for not calling the song "Teenage Wasteland". Terry Tate Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Fuel - Metallica.. I can only hope no one looks at me while I'm driving and that song comes on... 213020 Same way I feel about Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Visions of Wayne's World. Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me ...
Cripes Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I'd definitely second "Search and Destroy" by Iggy and the Stooges. It's loud, loose, with the fattest, dirty sound you'll ever hear on a recording. I also love "Shake Appeal." Just ferocious.

It gets frequent airplay in my Ipod. Every song on that is classic. I like "My Wife"-it reminds me of a buddy who gets into too much trouble from his wife for partying
MRW Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Can't say the full song name here, but how about Pantera, F'n Hostile?
Rico Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Motorhead - "Ace of Spades" is right up there... also like the cover by Battalion of Saints.

I especially like Smash Your Head Against the Wall. I also like Whistle Rhymes, Mad Dog, and Too Late the Hero. I was very sad when he died.
The Avenger Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I'd have to go with: Vote with a Bullet - Corrosion of Conformity (the opening to that song rocks - should be used as intro music for wrestling or something). I'M Broken - Pantera Just about anything else by Pantera including Walk and F'ing Hostile. You Can't Bring Me Down - Suicidal Tendencies
the cat in portland Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Just before Freddie Mercury died, Queen released a song that hung on the radio for a bit, but it was I thought one of their better songs: "Breakthrough." Download it some time and check it out. 213601 check out "stone cold crazy"by Queen

Alaska Darin Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 check out "stone cold crazy"by Queen 213871 I prefer "I Want it All" and "Hammer to Fall" to "Stone Cold Crazy".
Zamboni Man Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Outshined - Soundgarden Seek and Destroy - Metallica Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - AC/DC
MRW Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Outshined - Soundgarden 213893 How about Jesus Christ Pose?
