Jerry Jone's Toupee Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Not that he was a good fit here, but it sucks to see him tearing it up for the sea birds.
fansince88 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 More importantly, shouldnt it be Jerry Jones' not Jerry Jone's?
RuntheDamnBall Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 We received: something to talk about while our team is on the golf course!
Offside Number 76 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) 4th round pick, IIRC. EDIT: 2011 4th round pick (Chris Hairston) and 2012 5th round pick (Tank Carder). Edited January 12, 2014 by Offsides Number 76
Rob's House Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I figure it's a longshot we'd have re-signed him once his rookie deal was up anyway so I'm not that upset we got a 4th for him. Although it looks like that 4th (Hairston) may not play again.
Max997 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I find it funny these posts pop up every time Seattle plays on national TV
Jerry Jone's Toupee Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 More importantly, shouldnt it be Jerry Jones' not Jerry Jone's? Yea.......never was good with punctuation. Must be that Maryvale education I received.
boyst Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 A chance to watch him play for a real contender?
littlelouie Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Jerry Jones toupee - I'll tell you what the Bills got in the Marshawn Lynch trade. The answer is "HOSED" They got hosed.
Mr. WEO Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Seattle has Wilson and Lynch. We got Hairston, Tank Carder and YJ Graham.
NoSaint Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I believe Marshawns pending DUI trial had him behind the wheel of a late 90s ford econoline van.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) Did you know the Lynch pick was one made on the insistence of Ralph Wilson? Maybe they old fart knew more than we give him credit for? PTR Edited January 12, 2014 by PromoTheRobot
Ennjay Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The exact same discussion must be going on right now on the Ravens fan blog site over the 4th they gave up for Lee Evans.
Gray Beard Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Did you know the Lynch pick was one made on the insistence of Ralph Wilson? Maybe they old fart knew more than we give him credit for? PTR When did Ralph say "we want a runner that won't get injured"? He may have phrased it a little weird, but the idea was spot on. And Lynch would have filled that requirement very well.
jumbalaya Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Whitner, Lynch, Winfield, Peters, Pat Williams...an unending list of quality players that we let walk for nothing or almost nothing. Byrd will be on that list soon. We sign FA's that play like puke and have to draft over and over again to replace quality players that we let walk. We are consistently below the cap so this all hangs on the front office.
BillsVet Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Seattle has Wilson and Lynch. We got Hairston, Tank Carder and YJ Graham. Decisions have to be analyzed in the long term and the 2010-12 Bills will go down as a lesson in how not to build a football team.
