uncle flap Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I wasn't one to call him out for his early season injury, but here I'd strongly suspect its a case of "I'm not risking injury in an exhibition game, take me out" Especially when he already had words w marcel Reese when he tried to truck him a play or two earlier.
NoSaint Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Especially when he already had words w marcel Reese when he tried to truck him a play or two earlier. Really can't blame him - if he tore an ACL he'd be throwing away a lot for a meaningless game. Can't fault any pending free agents if they wanted out.

FLFan Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Exactly this, why should these players risk their big payday over a meaningless game? They can always decline to go.
NoSaint Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) They can always decline to go. Yea but you know you want the trip, chance to network and to be seen at the events still. Going has benefits. Who knows, he might've really tweaked something. I was just speculating given the situation. Edited January 27, 2014 by NoSaint
NDBUFFCUSEFAN Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 They can always decline to go. Or they can go and play it for fun, if someone is going to play like Sean Taylor it makes it risky.
RipfromPA Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Anyone remember a player who suffered a serious or career ending injury while playing in the Pro Bowl? I seem to remember a very good running back that was injured playing beach volleyball during pro bowl week which ended his career.

Robert Edwards was the RB injured after his very promising rookie season.
papazoid Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Tyrd just getting his 100% healthy alibi established.
papazoid Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 looks like the players are heeding Goodell's warning about playing hard..... just ask drew brees who is get drilled by Mario, suh & watt
mrags Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Robert Edwards was the RB injured after his very promising rookie season. that it was. He helped me win a FF Championship. He came back after that injury however andanaged to play although it wasn't for very long and he wasn't very effective.
BUFFALOKIE Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Tyrd just getting his 100% healthy alibi established. That was exactly my first thought as well. See you week seven Jairus.
Rivermont Mike Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) looks like the players are heeding Goodell's warning about playing hard..... just ask drew brees who is get drilled by Mario, suh & watt Dareus has two in first half. Kyle Williams has a neutral zone infraction. Edited January 27, 2014 by Rivermont Mike
8-8 Forever? Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Pro Bowl. Just end it already. Worst sports event in the history of sports. Agreed? this is garbage.
tito1 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 It's ok - I hate that everyone is terrified of being injured but its understandable. I like Dareus and Williams early play for buffalo
NoSaint Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Best in years. Not an intense nfl game but atleast get to see them display some physical talents unlike several recent years where they simply walked around. Edited January 27, 2014 by NoSaint
