She used her looks not just for her advantage to get ahead in life but used her brains to obtain a teaching position. She spends her time wanting to help others and educate children and for looking good and having a side career she is punished? How is her job any different then working at a pizza joint on weekends? Because she is a beautiful, person inside and out, clearly, she is being punished for doing what most people do in her position as a sole means for support.
