The Poojer Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 How would 124" average take a back seat to 113"? I am doing this (bump) for you Pooj! It is for your own good! If this list wasn't bogus, the UP of Michigan would shatter the top spots. Looks like W/CNY takes another back seat. Marquette, MI gets 113" a year on average... Why isn't Northern Michigan University on the list (and no, I am not an alumnus or on facilty... ). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Michigan_University
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 How would 124" average take a back seat to 113"? It wouldn't... I said: "Looks like W/CNY takes another back seat." Meaning the number 2 and 3 on the list will get relegated to a lower spot. The title of the thread is that W/CNY have all three top spots. I fully understand that Syracuse gets to be called the "Crap Capital of the US for most average snowfall" award (well maybe outside of Alaska?). Afterall, snow is NOT a good thing when dealing w/100,000's, if not millions of people! And... I am a winter lover (just getting sick of it in my old age).
