Nanker
At least she didn't give birth to a Downs syndrome baby. Holy ****, the Libs would have a field day with that. Louis CK would have to go on late night shows and rag on her disgusting vagina.
Azalin
The strongest blow will be the reaction of mothers to her willingly giving up custody of her kids, one being a two-year old. The strangest thing about this thread is that no one has asked the woudga question yet. again, you're correct about Texas mothers reacting to her abdication of motherhood. we have an entertaining crowd here in Austin, though. it'll be fun to watch her campaign from such a close range. TakeYouToTasker
Ceeding, uncontested, custody of not only a child from the current marraige, but also a child from a prior marraige; after strategically soaking your husband for thousands of dollars to pay for an education and a life you knew you didn't plan on sharing with him; followed by a judicial admonishment about drug use and alchohol... Coupled with a pro-late term abortion stance... This is totally cringe worthy... Talk about the anti-family values candidate...
B-Man
I don't see what the big deal is. If Wendy Davis likes her biography, she should be able to keep it. . . . . . . . Period. ThinkProgress: Criticism of lying liar Wendy Davis is totally sexist, you guys

B-Man
Davis’s Defenders : Criticizing her lies is sexist. Got that? by Andrew Stiles Following revelations that Wendy Davis fudged some of the details of her personal background and life story — a centerpiece of her long-shot gubernatorial campaign — the Left is rallying to her defense. Predictably, rather than address the actual discrepancies in Davis’s “rags to riches” narrative, her liberal supporters have devoted most of their energy to blasting her critics as sexist foot-soldiers in the Republican party’s “war on women.” At MSNBC, a network that recently ousted one of its hosts for suggesting someone ought to defecate in a woman’s mouth, Zachary Roth reported that conservatives had “pounced” on the Dallas Morning News report about Davis’s fibs for sinister reasons. Roth explains that, in the mind of conservatives, Davis is at fault not for “playing fast and loose with her biography,” but for “making life choices they disagree with — including the decision, as a mother, to prioritize her career.” And just in case you didn’t grasp what he was getting at, Roth adds: “It’s hard to imagine those choices generating criticism were Wendy Davis a man.” {snip} Jones ends on a note that pretty much sums up the liberal reaction to criticism about Davis and her “fuzzy facts”: For Ms. Davis’ part, she has vowed to be more precise in her language, which is as it should be. But forgive me if I am more appalled by the vicious attacks from a party that pretends it’s Pro life and then removes social safety nets from single parents and demonizes single mothers and women in general, leaving vulnerable children to starve. Sure, she may have lied. But Republicans want to murder your kids. Liberalism is a disease .

Koko78
Is that feminism? The ability to shirk one’s responsibilities in order to get ahead in life? I believe they call it being 'progressive' nowadays.
B-Man
I guess Wendy isn't quite as smart as the Left thinks If you're running against someone who's paralyzed, there's just ONE THING you need to avoid saying. Davis issued a statement, which concludes, “I am proud of where I came from and I am proud of what I’ve been able to achieve through hard work and perseverance. And I guarantee you that anyone who tries to say otherwise hasn’t walked a day in my shoes.” ADDED: 1100 AM: FIRST THERE WAS THE “WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES” GAFFE, NOW THIS: Wendy Davis Supporters: Our Paraplegic Opponent, Greg Abbott, is “running scared.” .
