Steve O Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 http://archive.wbir.com/news/article/221479/2/Powell-triple-murder-case-bound-to-grand-jury My niece works for the public defender's office in Knoxville and is second chairing the jury trial, which starts next week (or maybe it was this week). Her father tells me the three women involved in a threesome. What kind of person goes for the gun instead of the cam-corder?
boyst Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 In measure of good taste I will not comment on many parts of this article/information. The only thing that I will add is that this is one very complex story. A man comes home to find his wife in bed with someone else. That someone else is her very own twin sister. Both of them are also in the bed with another person. Another female, at that. I do not quite know how you walk in on that very scene and not have about 20 different emotions hit you at once.

Are there 20 different emotions available?
boyst Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Are there 20 different emotions available? Speaking from experience watching two women together I can say there were at least 2. Figuring it was some sort of twisted incestuous dishonorable/unfaithful debauchery I can only imagine what other thoughts would be but can try. The first two: Turned on and excited. The rest: Confused. Betrayed. Annoyed. Angered. Used. Lied to. Disappointed. Worthless. Unappreciated. Emasculated. Grief. Outrage. Panic. I guess I could only manage 16.
CowgirlsFan Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Whew... glad this isn't the Dallas Cowboys players trial!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 did I miss something in the link that referred to the women being in bed?
Chef Jim Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Are there 20 different emotions available? I'm thinking two that I would go back and forth on 10 times. So yeah.
Guffalo Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 did I miss something in the link that referred to the women being in bed? I din't see any reference to a threesome, but naturally the Animal House pillow fight scene is rolling around in my head as I read the article
boyst Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I din't see any reference to a threesome, but naturally the Animal House pillow fight scene is rolling around in my head as I read the article Go look at the videos linked from the link. They show pictures of the women. The twins sisters...not so much. The friend...maybe a tiny bit of good looking. Her momma, though. ahhh! no!
SactoBillFan Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 did I miss something in the link that referred to the women being in bed? I didn't read it that way either.
Steve O Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 did I miss something in the link that referred to the women being in bed? Did not appear in the article, as mentioned in the OP that info comes from my niece's father (my brother, also a lawyer) from discussion between the two.
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Are there 20 different emotions available? Based on the number of emoticons that OCinBuffalo uses, I would think that there's several times that many.
Steve O Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 This is going to be an interesting trial. I would think the defense has to put on the defendant as a witness to make some kind of heat of passion defense. I am guessing they are trying to angle for voluntary manslaughter. Is the threesome thing public knowledge or known to the prosecution? Yes - here is an article from yesterday which at least mentions it http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2014/jan/21/attorney-tidal-wave-of-shame-behind-triple/"Assistant District Attorney General Kevin Allen told jurors Tuesday that Clifford Moore coolly executed the three women nearly two months after learning his wife was having an affair with Snellings." On the link below, my niece is on the left doing her hair. If you start the video (and wait through the 15 second commercial) she can be seen from 50-56 seconds. (Please no wouldya's) http://www.wate.com/story/24521644/victims-daughter-testifies-in-knox-county-triple-murder-trial

Steve O Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 "Here's my niece. In a trial involving a lesbian threesome. Please, no 'would ya's'." Yeah, good luck with that. When you put it like that, sounds more like an invitation for them than a plea not for them
