Joshua Tree was their last good album. They've had some fantastic singles since then, but no solid complete albums. This song drops them to a new low. Wow that was bad. Forget the horribly scripted banter. You could predict the winner of every single category based on who had been shown in the audience. I can hear how the recruiting calls must have gone... "Hi, (insert performer name here)? Yeah, it's the People's Choice Awards. We'll give you one if you promise you'll show up. Voting? We're not actually audited so nobody can prove anything." How else can one rationalize Britney Spears getting the favorite pop music performer award over Katy Perry and Bruno Mars?
