Buftex Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) http://www.nfl.com/player/dancarpenter/2507401/profile FWIW, Carpenter appears to have been pretty solid as a field-goal kicker, throughout his career. Maybe a little slump in 2010. His year in Buffalo was his best. Can only guess the Dolphins were not happy with his kickoffs. Edited March 11, 2014 by Buftex

KOKBILLS Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 While I really appreciate what Carpenter did last year the Bills drafted Hopkins for a reason. And the kid beat Lindell out fair and square...Now...If Hopkins is still injured then of course it forces the Bills hand a bit and getting Carpenter in is important, if not vital...But if Hopkins is healthy, and bombing 50 plus yarders the way he was last camp, then I think you move on and go with the kid...
Buftex Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 He also kicked well in bad weather. After his first few kicks of the year, I was never once nervous about him missing a kick. In all the time Lindell was here, I never had that confidence in him.
