ExiledInIllinois Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I had a hot date w/photo #5 one time... Caused a bad case of the clap! Holy moly, did I just say that? Freud would have a hayday w/me! Anyway... Will this eruption have any impact on "polar vortex" patterns? Don't they say volcanic eruptions cause "global cooling?"
DC Tom Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Anyway... Will this eruption have any impact on "polar vortex" patterns? Don't they say volcanic eruptions cause "global cooling?" I'm sure the IPCC will be quick to point out that volcanoes are caused by global warming.
mead107 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Must be we will have a wild summer with the ash going round the world.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Must be we will have a wild summer with the ash going round the world. Gets bad enough and there will be no summer! 1816 was such an example. Eruption of Mt. Tambora (also in Indonesia) was the cause. Crops failed in the Northeast, ponds froze in New England, and Rochester, New York recorded snow in every month. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_Without_a_Summer
Gugny Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Boyst got to #26 and we haven't heard from him, since.
Rubes Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 That's nothing compared to the Hot Cinnabun eruption that occurred last time I ate there.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Boyst got to #26 and we haven't heard from him, since. The good thing is that it will never know who Boyst is or won't be able to recognize him. Smart move with the bag over the head! Seriously, those are some unsettling pictures! Powerful what the human condition has to endure!
BuffaloBill Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Does this help to explain the blizzard of 77?
