Clippers of Nfl Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I want Denver to win 66-2. You like my tags?
Maury Ballstein Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Nope. Time for playoff Peyton to get his pants taken down. Let's go Chargers! More Phil, more bolo ties please.
GunnerBill Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 (edited) Peyton's going to throw two picks and the Chargers are off to New England.... Edited January 9, 2014 by GunnerBill
Big C Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Rivers' throw is weird, but I love it. It's like watching Joakim Noah dribble or shoot.
OldTimer1960 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 River's throwing motion is unorthodoxed, but is the OP really willing to call a 6'5"230lb+ pro football player a girl? Early nominee for dumbest/most disrespectful post of the year - and only 8 days into the new year!!!
gobillsinytown Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Yep, I would absolutely love to have the feminine overhand arm motion of Philip Rivers. For the amount of money he's making, I wouldn't hesitate for one second to get in touch with my girlie side.
Kkspike Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Rivers was born to play quarterback. He started chucking full size footballs all over at the age of 5.
stinky finger Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 River's throwing motion is unorthodoxed, but is the OP really willing to call a 6'5"230lb+ pro football player a girl? Don Nelson of the Celtics is one that comes to mind of a big dude whose mannerisms screamed broad-like.
Mark Vader Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Sure, and we'd all welcome him to Buffalo. Damn right, we would. Having said that, I still think Denver wins.
BillsBytheBay Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 The shot put throw. It looks like he pushes the ball out, instead of throwing. Who cares. He has a career QB rating of 95.5. Good for #5, all time.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Weird thowing motion. Marginal velocity and distance. Very accurate and his ball is very catchable. Just outside the group of truly elite QBs. I'd rather have Rivers than Cutler and Stafford, for instance.
#34fan Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Phil Rivers talks WAY too much smack for a QB... More than any starting QB I've ever seen. I Wouldn't mind seeing the guy GET a smack or two this weeekend. As for him throwing like a girl, I agree. However, QB coach Frank Reich has cleaned up his accuracy issues quite a bit. -Way to go, Frank! Edited January 10, 2014 by #34fan
nuklz2594 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 bernie kosar had funky throwing motion. pretty much side armed every throw
papazoid Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 if that girl was on the Bills......we would be in the playoffs.
Maybe Someday Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Maybe so but he’s got what, 7 kids? So he sure does something else like a man!!!
BuffaloBillsForever Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Phillip Rivers would be my choice for MVP in the NFL in 2013.
