DrDawkinstein Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I had a few messages going back and forth with Hammer and he asked if I had seen the Alabama woman wrecking ball video. I hadn't, I didn't know if I wanted to...but I looked. Holy crap, I would love to see Kelly do this! http://youtu.be/vVVNN2pzaHw Im sure youre just joking about the Kelly part, but I find the lack of outrage on this compared to the Slam Dunk video interesting. Or to frame it another way... That poor sap who made the mistake of trying to slide down the railing, and accidentally fell over onto someone, had his life ruined because of it. His personal info was posted all over the web, he lost his job due to it, and is being held financially responsible for all medical bills. This woman actively decided to physically assault a group of people in a dirty, ambush-style attack and issues a trite, half-ass apology to her own side, and it's all done now. She's lucky she got out-classed by a group of college aged bros. Anyone of them would have been in their right to gorilla press throw her down a few rows, or even knock her out. And to come out and say she'd do it again... What a disgusting excuse for a human being. And Im sure she thinks of herself as a proper southern belle on top of it.

All's good w/some! Like I said, Mama does this for my 16 (actually 15) year old boy and he is shamed (by his own accord) for life! w/such big bad OU college students... But come on, he is almost 16, he can hold his own. I am not a big advocate of the whole sports scene, but maybe the kid should hit the football field, ice rink, lacrosse field? Sorry to pass judgement... I agree w/you Dr. Anyway... Where is the kid in all this while Mama was defending his tainted honor? Did I miss him? Like I said, the apron strings should have been cut 6 years ago... Again, not that I wouldn't defend my child... But this is just ridiculous... Mama fighting his battles. Should there even be a battle? Don't get me... I am not saying what the other side did was right... But really son, you need your Mama coming in doing a Flying Wallenda, then kicking and screaming w/her stylish calf length boots as she is dragged away in shame! And people find honor in this... Oh my!

If it was me she attacked she would be in jail. I dont care if she is a woman or not. She assaulted someone. Her actions are hilariously disgusting in that she felt she could even attempt to do such a crap move. I have no idea how she thought shed get away with it but looking at her and being 40+ likely dressed like a coed then yeah. I can guess the type she is... and she deserves jail time.

"Do you know how much of a dick I would be if it was socially unacceptable to kick the sh** out of me?!?" Edited January 6, 2014 by DrDareustein

Oh, I figured as much, but had to fire one across J's bow just to make sure he was paying attention I do find it annoying though that the media/internet/etc have let this slide, but took such joy in ruining the Rail Guy's life.

Actually, the guys involved showed amazing judgement. You can't say from the video alone that she wasn't provoked but once she dove into the crowd she was fair game for somebody to do some damge to her. Is she was a dude doing that all hell would have busted loose. The guys simply restrained her which ultimately showed a bit of class on their part. She is lucky to not be a bloody beaten mess.
MDH Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Oh, I figured as much, but had to fire one across J's bow just to make sure he was paying attention I do find it annoying though that the media/internet/etc have let this slide, but took such joy in ruining the Rail Guy's life. The rail guy is an interesting comparison. On one hand the damage he did far,far exceeded what this woman did - the person he landed on was seriously hurt. One the other hand his intent wasn't to do any damage. Both acted in a pretty idiotic way. I'd say in the end the resulting media/internet coverage was pretty fair. It's not everyday you see a guy fall from the rafters at a sporting event because he decided to slide down the railing while the type of behavior that the woman exhibited is pretty common internet fodder. It's all about novelty.
