Mike in Syracuse Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Sammy Watkins is putting on a WR clinic tonight against a solid Ohio State secondary. There's no way he makes it to #9. I'd love to see him on the Bills, he's a true #1 WR and would be incredible opposite Woods. Think there's any chance the Bills would go and get him? Hell, send Byrd to the Rams for their #2!
Chandler#81 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I'd like Ohis St's RB. To the OP's question; no.
Maury Ballstein Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Nope. If he falls to 9 though run to the podium.
Jamie Nails Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Nope. If he's gone, the kid from A+M not named Johnny Football will do
Jrock6986 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I think he's there at. 9. A lot of QBs along with Matthews and Clowney gonna go over Watkins.
Bronc24 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Don't trade up. We will get a quality player at 9.
KOKBILLS Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Don't trade up. We will get a quality player at 9. Exactly...I think this Draft is set up pretty well for the Bills needs...
NDBUFFCUSEFAN Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Would like Watkins at #9 but this draft is pretty flat, would rather have the Bills sit tight and grab the best LB or WR, or move down if they think they can get the guy the want later on like EJ last year.
PastaJoe Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 The Bills have enough small receivers, they need a big man who can go up and outreach the D.

You take talent when you can. You don't pass on a legitimate stud just bc he's not 6'5. James hardy was 6'5 and stunk.
JPS Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 OSU…solid defense… That's not what they said in the pre game. Watkins looks good tho. Acceleration is ridiculous. Catches with his hands. Physical. He looks pretty rare, but I'm concerned that he's showing better against a poor defense.

Kirby Jackson Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Hardy wasn't a 1st round pick. Mike Evans is 6'5" and talented. You can't teach size. You're not watching the Orange Bowl are you? Evans isn't in the same league as Watkins. Edited January 4, 2014 by Kirby Jackson
Bronc24 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 You can't teach everything Watkins brings to the table.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 The Bills have enough small receivers, they need a big man who can go up and outreach the D. This is kind of the equivalent of not drafting the best linebacker in the nation because he doesn't weigh 260 pounds. Smart personnel men only use size as a tie-breaker. It's never the first consideration.
SBUffalo Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) No. No. Just no. We don't need another 6'1 WR. Nor should we be trading up to get one. WR is below TE, guard and middle linebacker on the list of needs. Could move below safety. Should be below QB. He's the type of WR that you need a good QB to use properly.
