papazoid Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 enquiring minds want to know..... Cooler heads have prevailed in the dispute between Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams and his former fiancée over an engagement ring worth $785,000. Williams and Erin Marzouki released a joint statement Thursday saying they have reached a settlement agreement regarding the ring. Terms were not disclosed. http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/communities/bills-stars-dispute-over-785000-ring-subsides-20140102
NoSaint Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I wonder if they cut it in half, or if Mario is getting it weekends and some holidays
Nanker Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Oh thank Heaven! I can finally get a good night's rest.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I wonder if they cut it in half, or if Mario is getting it weekends and some holidays Ha! Ha! I suspect the public apology on both sides was the biggest part of the settlement. Did you catch the bit where the girl said her lawyer released the texts without her knowledge? OK, whatever. If we're guessing, my guess is the girl got the ring and she reimbursed Mario for the $$ she charged to his card that were actually her purchases.
PearlHowardman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Speaking of rings, does anyone else out there think that modern day Super Bowl rings are completely hideous? http://ifitshipitshere.blogspot.com/2011/02/all-44-superbowl-rings-to-date-and-some.html
Beerball Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Speaking of rings, does anyone else out there think that modern day Super Bowl rings are completely hideous? No, there could be nothing more beautiful than one of those with a Bills logo on the side. The more gaudy the better.
Mr. WEO Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Why in the world would he want to bring this up again in public? Holy cow--get an agent or something. Anyway, at least they can ened the suicide watch.
PearlHowardman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 No, there could be nothing more beautiful than one of those with a Bills logo on the side. The more gaudy the better. Win one. Then sell it. They're hideous. I like the ring that the Chicago Bears had from their '87 Super Bowl win.

Anyway, at least they can ened the suicide watch. I think people need to stop having cow in their posts. I have to spend way too much time with the search function scouring the threads.
Just Jack Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 No, there could be nothing more beautiful than one of those with a Bills logo on the side. The more gaudy the better. Like this one? By 1993, the Bills having been to several SB, it was decided that players and front office personnel could have a choice between a ring or pendant. The person that I got this from took the pendant.

CodeMonkey Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Since she is a gold digger and he is an idiot for giving her a ring that cost more than 3/4 of a million dollars, the judge should have given the ring to a disinterested third party ... me!

Nope, no offense, but a SB winning ring would do the trick.
papazoid Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 The recent Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl ring is fashioned in white and yellow gold with 243 round-cut diamonds. The estimated value is between $5,000 and $10,000. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/77935/ravens-celebrate-reminisce-at-ring-bash
