Braedenstearns Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Doesn't sound like the Bills are interested in keeping him. That's what it sounded like in the press conference.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 If that's the case a stupid move he has shown he is a capable backup
Dragonborn10 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Yes the Bills need upgrades at the two most important positions on this board - back up QB and punter.
xsoldier54 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Thad Lewis is under contract for next year. He ain't goin anywhere. He proved that he has some talent and can fill in when needed.
NoSaint Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Thad Lewis is under contract for next year. He ain't goin anywhere. He proved that he has some talent and can fill in when needed. I thought he was a RFA
NoSaint Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) hes under contract Touché. And ridiculous cheap as well. Edited January 1, 2014 by NoSaint
OldTimer1960 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Doesn't sound like the Bills are interested in keeping him. That's what it sounded like in the press conference. What was said that made you think that?
1B4IDie Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 It sounded like they liked him in the three stooges press conference. What are you referencing?
billsfan_34 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 If that's the case a stupid move he has shown he is a capable backup throws a nice deep ball at times and plays hard, doesnt take care of the ball tho. That will get u the axe
NoSaint Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 He proved he's capable, keep him For 645k there's no reason not to really - it's a solid 3rd at no cost even if we add a 2 to the mix
Big Turk Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 He's only played 5 games in the NFL and has played fairly well for his lack of experience I thought, winning two... Not sure why you would let him go considering he should make a good jump from this year with his knowledge and experience which should translate to his play
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 In an interview I seen of Thad, he was asked if he was under a one or two year deal and he said two. Sorry no link but you just have to take my word on this one.
CardinalScotts Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Doesn't sound like the Bills are interested in keeping him. That's what it sounded like in the press conference. what part of the press conference did you hear, I thought I heard the whole thing Whaley talked about how they DO like him but doesnt mean they would be against picking a qb. Never show your hand in the draft
Braedenstearns Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Which press conference? The ending one. Marrone, Brandon, and Whaley.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The ending one. Marrone, Brandon, and Whaley. I will have to go back and listen. I frankly recalled nothing even said about Thad, but I probably missed it.
Gerry Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The Bills were/are lucky to have him-an undrafted UFA with minimal experience and no camp/preseason who came in early in the season and played at EJ's level (higher QB rating, same W/L %). Thad's play should raise more questions about 1st round draft pick EJ's future than about his ability to be a backup.
Beerball Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The ending one. Marrone, Brandon, and Whaley. Why don't you think about quoting the part of the conference you're referencing. Nobody here seems to know what you're referring to.
