they get no sympathy from me...they shot 7% from the field...I could do better than that myself...don't field a team if you cannot actually play

Every basketball season there's some game that makes the news because of a lopsided score and the comments are always the same....

 

- The winning team was being mean running up the score

- The losing team should have forfeited after the first half

- The winning team did everything they could to keep the game close

- The losing team will use it as a learning experience

etc...

When this happens in the rec league for 10 y/o girls, someone needs to be punched in the mouth. But these are adults and everyone knows how the system works in college. CBC schedules teams they have no business being on the floor with for the money, and a beating is the inevitable price paid. It happens all the time in college football too.
