26CornerBlitz Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 @mortreport Tony Romo's MRI not good. Ruled out rest of season, per source telling @AdamSchefter Also, Denver's Von Miller has a torn ACL.
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Well at least Romo doesn't have to worry about choking again. That sucks though. As for Miller, what an awful year. You should never take your NFL career for granted because it will be over before you know it.
sodbuster Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I feel like 2013 has been the year of the backup qb. Green Bay, Buffalo, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Tampa, Oakland, Tennessee, Chicago, Washington, and now Dallas.
Chandler#81 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Well, the 'Season' has just 60 minutes left. I understand Millers' injury is severe, but will/ can Romo return should Dallas win next week. He played the entire game and pulled out a last minute, 'season'-saving win. It's not like he was unable to continue..
McD Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Von Miller is out? Another lucky break for the Pats....
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Von Miller is out? Another lucky break for the Pats.... I hate the Pats but they might have more injuries than anyone.
Jerry Jone's Toupee Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 This news made Jerry's hair piece very sad!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 may actually help the cowboys Orton over Romo? Really? @SoftliSTL Fisher "Jake Long has tore his MCL and ACL in his right knee. We will let the MCL scare over then operate on ACL"
papazoid Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Tony Romo has back surgery, so he’s out for the year http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/12/27/tony-romo-has-back-surgery-so-hes-out-for-the-year/
Mango Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 that was obvious. no way the dude was going to play right after a herniated disc.
boyst Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I am celebrating the demise of the Cowboys. I cannot believe they are still in the hunt for the playoffs. Garrett was the prodigal son and reality sunk in to show he is not HC capable.
Special K Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 that was obvious. no way the dude was going to play right after a herniated disc. Agreed. It was such a farce to have to listen to Garrett talk like he was going to fight through it and play. He was only fooling himself if he thought Romo would play.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Tony Romo has back surgery, so he’s out for the year http://profootballta...t-for-the-year/ It's up to Kyle Orton now. It's his first start in a couple of years. No pressure Kyle, it's only for a Division Championship.
todd Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Um, yeah. Not playing with a herniated disc made him gay. Quite intelligent. Romo, is a homo.
jumbalaya Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 a redder shade of neck on a whiter shade of trash Love that line. There is no trash like white trash.
jaybee Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Romo, is a homo. He's played with a punctured lung. He's played (and rallied) with broken ribs. I dont care what anyone says. Romo is better than ant QB we have, or have had in a VERY long time. One of the toughest..."play thru injury" QB's in the league. I think Orton will manage this game adequately. The Cowboys defense stepped it up last week. If those two things happen its any ones game. This is reality football. Not Fantasy. If I were a betting man I'd take the Cowboys with the 6 1/2 all day long.
